i just got my bird about a month ago and I'm still trying to get her use to me she gives kisses and pecks at my nails but that is all she won't get on my hand
How long does it take for them to calm down before thye really start playing like this? I brought my baby black headed home last week and she is still not playing on her back yet or anything. Just curious
Lazykittenmoon they don't play on their back until you teach them to do that. For starting, just flip it while you're holding it. It may bite, but it will soon learn and wrestle with you and it's toys.
I hear you referring to the birds as he or she, how do you sex these birds? I have one that I think is a female, but not sure, do they need to be DNA tested?
