Listening to music whilst we study is something we’ve all done. Sometimes, it feels like it’s the only thing keeping our sanity together. But could it be that the music that we’re listing to, instead of just motivating us, is actually slowing down our learning?

For the past 3 years I swapped music for ASMR of my liking and also "pink sound" woshing sounds of waves or waterfalls. I have it constantly in the background when working or studying. It keeps me calm and focused and in the zone
Amazingly eye-opening! I'm a huge fan of metal and rock, and I can't imagine not listening to music during study seshs, it's worth a try though, for my sake.
