Many people don't know but Ruin Guards originally had lasers in test servers. Mihoyo then removed it. Maybe they thought it would be hard for beginners?
Sure, guided missiles are much easier to dodge
@@eliederventura Actually yes. You can fight ruin grader later in the game. And they have laser and more weakpoint to break. And laser is way more annoying cause it track you down. You can't dodge it and have to hide behind object or hit the weakpoint quickly
@@dieptrieu6564 Or just get really close to them, and they can't hit you with their lasers. I'd say lasers are easier to deal with than guided missiles.
@@RealisticFar I don't know how long have you been fighting them. But they absolutely can hit you even when you are close to them. And getting too close mean you gonna get hit by their other attack too so it's not ideal. Guided missile only need 1 dash to dodge. Compare to how laser track you. I'd consider laser as harder
@@dieptrieu6564 I've fought them ever since they released, and I never had that problem while fighting them, just be touching their legs, and they can't hit you at all, and you can also hit their weak points in the meanwhile. I'll get on Genshin just to check rn if you want, but my point still stands at the moment.

@@stardust9470 the main issue with the lasers is the fact it was too easy to use the terrain to block it, a slight elevation or a timely dodge can completely the negate the attack i believe.

True, but this one has dps like a burned grass. Dunno if how HI3 mobs work, but as a GI player, even zhongli health build would be running low when a ruin guard concentrates its attack like that in the vid. Or is this on a lower leven dungeon or something, please enlighten me, thank you.
@@nd-dv8px this is in test room for new mob so it deal no damage. honkai mob usually designed with absurdly high damage to punish low dodging skill. tank in honkai is a joke.

It would be great if paimon can do what ever that companion do (BEING USEFULL) like give or throw health.
Those are called ELF (Equipment: Living Form) and there are currently seven of them in the game with the purpose of supporting the characters in battle in a variety of ways such as making enemies more vulnerable, shield breaking, freezing, healing, and etc
The one that was shown in the video is called Book of Fuxi it's attacks deals fire damage and it's abilities/ultimate is to create a field where enemies take more elemental damage
