Trevor is a gift. When John Stewart left the Daily Show I thought “oh no!”, but Trevor has been awesome, especially during lockdown. I wish him all the best in his next adventures.

@@christelheadington1136 Aren't you following "The Problem with Jon Stewart"? He's basically doing his old show again, but he makes the rules. And sadly stooped down to Apple+, but what can you do, still an amazing show. Him and Bill Maher are the last two logical voices in the middle. Hope they live long and prosper. 😁🙏

I love the fact trevor had to follow one of the most incredible acts of all time (jon stewart) and still killed it. He also brought in some of my favorite commentators ive ever seen like jordan klepper or ronny chieng. He is amazing

I recall that was his walk-on music in this segment - think it was deliberate on his part as well.
People hate Trevor for making jokes about racism. As a South African, Im glad we had people like Trevor who made a terrible thing a funny thing. Today, the largest opposition party "traditional white party" is supported by mainly black people. Trevor and others like him made us South Africans see how liberating it is to make fun of it and talk openly about it, instead of how terrible it is if we sweep it under the rug.
So crazy that when he first took over for Jon Stewart, I had my doubts. But if I'd just seen this one stand up bit before that, I wouldn't have had any doubt he would kill it on TDS. I miss him already.
I laughed as many times here as I did in the seven years he hosted his own show.

Culturally, it's important to keep this type of stuff visible. Thank You to whomever put it out here. I saw that guy on TV spewing political opinions -as though leading the bleaters to their truth- once and nearly gagged on the back of my own eyeballs. He and the little guy from SNL tried to take over what Jon Stewart was doing back in the Bush years but they come off too milky and panderous. It's annoying. What are these creatures called these days anyhow? Lib is not working because they seem to be quite the opposite of that would actually mean.
It's horrifying to consider that this is the way American culture has been led for the past 5 decades.
