Hey Paul. Thought this would have been a mini E500 but you're 100% right. Its more relaxed in the upper mids and missing the high energy + sparkles. Nice balanced set and does a lot right, but for me, I think I prefer 7hz zero. I'm more of a mids treble focussed guy. Thanks for this review. You mentioned a new Simgot set coming? Any details??? Thanks a mil

The next one is EW200 in China right now, so maybe we will see an international EW200P in a couple of months. It just was launched so not much info on it yet. If you are on Facebook, I usually post news things here: facebook.com/groups/hopesanddriams

These are really great for the price. They are the Zero and Chu with a little more bass. Better than Aria actually. Just a really clean sound. These look way better than people think too. The cable is nice. It fits great. Its a homerun. This is nearly the perfect gym or bus IEM. They could put this on a better driver and add a little soundstage to it. Make it sparkle just a tad more in the treble. It would be perfect. This could be done via a BA or planar. Its awesome though. This is a higher quality than its priced for sure. It beats many 50 dollar sets and a few 70-80 sets. In tuning and sound quality.

Yeah, EW200 was the better driver version, slightly better shell. Can't fault them for hitting the price mark on EW100 though.

@@PaulWasabii they are doing some astonishing things at cheaper prices nowadays. Although I'm still curious to get something in the 200 dollar range like possibly a planar. I keep telling myself I am going to get the Timeless.

just an interesting meme , but the name of this model is actually not " Shark " but " Barrel Shark " - a term that made no sense cause it do made no sense , its a play on the Chinese text of the name " 桶鲨 " which is a phonetic play on the term " 通殺 " that pronounce the same in the home language , the term itself is taken from gaming jargon which literally ( and might be figuratively ) means " Kill All "
Well your interpretation of the term is , well , as good as any I can come up with ...... LOL

Yep, I think EW200 will have a similar name confusion when they release it to the rest of the world. Feel free to correct me on that one as well as I will no doubt get it wrong as well. Thank you and take care.

I appreciate your attention to how an iem responds at different loudness levels because casual listening is done at low volume and i have no idea why all source don't have loudness compensation built in only a few high end amp do offer that en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equal-loudness_contour

This one I just had a hard time finding the right balance. Certainly a harder time that other reviews I read. I'd say that the family EW100, Zero, Chu generally had a similar mixed reception and tolerance for that lower treble area.
