@@susannevollmer2347 I saw her in Carmen with Kumakowa...watch act 2 of them here on youtube. She was amazing. She IS "carmen of act 2". She isn't able to get there with this mad scene and she relies on theatrics and I have seen that with dancers in other ballets. Watch Carla Fracci or Osipova. They will tear your heart out in the mad scene. Do you know if Durante danced le jeune homme et la mort?
@@fatovamingus I got, it now, Have never heard about Durante in "le jeune", but I`m not a fan from this ballett, so sure is nothing. But I think, she did not because the mort is no good part for a primaballerina.
That shocked "thousand yard" glassy-eyed stare, that devastated broken doll expression, that manic energy...an excellent interpretation.
One of the best madness scenes I have seen- Viviana was a brilliant dance actress!
