As a Slavic person myself I have always wanted to let the world know that Russia before the Soviet Union was a historical, complicated and yet beautiful piece of mystical life. It held evil and beauty in so many different ways. There were bad things in it and beautiful things. The Imperial Russia had their kings and queens, famous artists and authors that are considered high wisdom and talent today. Just as every country has a past of undoubtedly amazing things so did Russia. What is happening with Russia today is different then what could have happened today. Often leaders can have a sad effect on the country and often people can't help it.

I actually think that just because there's this war conflict today.... not everything from russia should be labeled like a bad or be forbbiden, actually even some theatres have cancelled tchaikovski's ballets.... and that's something... i mean that is pure art in ages that has nothing to do with propaganda i mean... to be honest, i prefer even it's exactly different, i prefer to take art like high above and away from this political conflicts..., Not only tchaikovski but more masters were there, and all that making russia just like any other beautiful country with its history and geniouses....

1812 for me too, but in a different way. When I was quite young, each time I visited my Uncle Joe is always asked him to let me listen to a 45 called The 1812 Overture. After doing this many times, he gave me the record. That was the start of my love for Tchaikovsky.
I always liked to imagine the 1812 Overture played in Naples with Vesuvius accompanying. It would be unforgettable!

Да из-за генов далеких предков такой талантище уродился, но нет , в первую очередь это заслуга родителей, которые привили ему любовь к музыке с раннего детства, во вторую очередь это обучение в Петербургской консерватории, в третьих это среда в которой он жил и работал ,которая была многогранна и включала в себя совершенно разные города и страны ( Петербург , Италия , Германия и много чего еще), ну а гениальность, она и есть гениальность и откуда она берется и как ее добиться, пока что никто не определил.
