Join us as we visit Drayton Manor for Gold Rush Opening Day. Gold Rush is the brand new family lift and launch rollercoaster at Drayton Manor Resort manufactured by Intamin. We give a full, honest review of Gold Rush in this video as we experienced both cycles. We feel that Gold Rush is a great addition to Drayton Manor and fits perfectly with the direction that the park is going in being more of a family park.
As well as experiencing Gold Rush we also explored the rest of Drayton Manor too getting our first ever ride on The Wave since it changed from stand up trains to sit down. We also got a soaking on Stormforce 10 as well as exploring the very well themed Vikings area of the park! We even went into Thomas Land for a ride on Thomas and Paercy's Submarine Splash!

Gold Rush is such a sleeper hit for the UK, everyone was talking about Nemesis, Hyperia or even Minifigure Speedway. Great vlog ❤. Stormforce intimidates me sometimes.😂😂. Can’t wait for Europa Park, it’s my second favourite park in the world behind Phantasialand.

The only time I visited Drayton was in 2009 as a kid. Thomas land was the big draw and Jormangandr was called the buffalo coaster which was my second ever credit
Thank you for watching. I remember the Buffalo too. A lot has changed since then. It would be worth you doing another visit if you can. Especially for Gold Rush ☺️
got to count the haunting is older than hex and was the second in the world of its kind
For sure I do respect The Haunting a lot it just definitely does feel its age now. I remember being terrified on it on a school trip (I’m nearly 40 and also feel my age too) 🤣 Thank you for watching ❤️

The 0 g roll I had my first rise yesterday since it became sit down and got ripped out my seat
I think it’s all dependent on where you sit! I was ripped out of my seat on our first ride but not so much on the second run.

And just to let you know,I’m not sure if u have the annual or platinum pass but if u do u could’ve got on their 10-11 in the morning and all the others would be waiting but all u have to do is show them your pass and they will let you straight into the queue
Sadly we don’t have an annual pass for Drayton Manor. We may look into getting one next year ☺️
