You echo my thoughts. Grew up in the 60s watching him on reruns, and nearly 60 years later, watching again.

This isn’t George of the Jungle?
The color is so vivid and great!!! The crow is talkative. There never was a better Tarzan. Or jungle Jim. They don’t make very entertaining movies any more. Every one is based on violence sex drugs and death. What happened to story lines fantasies dreams fun fictional ideas in movies? Everything is so serious any more that the movies are actually boring.

'Colorized' kills it
This movie looks colorized.
I liked Simba and his gang in guerrilla costumes that saved the day. Guns and knives were no match for their brute strength. 😂
Simba hops, jumps and then beats her chest. She's almost as intimidating as a certain individual on The View that gnashes her teeth and screams! 🤣
This film was colorized for sure. I doubt if Columbia would budget color for this low grade, second feature (in the old double feature days of cinema) movie theater series of JJ. 🏹♐
Who noticed , that when JJ dove into the the river to fight the crock, he was wearing a T Shirt and shorts , then when stabbing the crock he had no shirt on and a lap lap and he had lost 20 kg, then as he came out of the river he had his shirt and shorts on
