Finally! a straight forward recipe/procedure for smoked wings on a pellet/smoker. With this process as a good basic recipe it’s easy to add minor spices and coatings without screwing-up the entire process.

love the vids. i put my wings on a rack over a sheet pan in the fridge for 4 hours to dry out the skin. they come out great on my traeger this way. keep it up brother.

I use about the same process on the 🎯. Don’t have a larger RecTeq yet. 225 for about an hour then 400 to finish off.

I dry my wings out really well and then i baste them in olive oil and season with SPG. Put them on the smoker at 350 degrees for about 50 minute or until wings temp at around 195- 200 degrees. CRISPY SMOKED WINGS BABY! So easy and so good.
I smoke at 1 hour at 180 1st they come out great

Can that same method be used on a charcoal smoker for instance a pit barrel cooker (PBC)…I can’t really get the skin right

So 1 hour at 235. And 1.25 hours at 325?
Once you turn the temp to 325, cook them until they reach an internal temp of 175 degrees, the time may vary depending on the smoker
Which pellets did you use
Oh man, if I remember correctly, back in November around that time I believe I was testing the Kingsford 100% Hardwood Pellets for Grills, Signature Blend....I think....LOL

Tried this method I will only smoke wings this way from now on. Bw’s has nothing on these wings!
