Can You Guess His Weight? Most Overweight People in the World

  • Obesity is a growing global concern. While most of us fret about an extra kilo, for others, their struggle with weight is in an entirely different league. Sometimes it is nearly impossible to curb their eating addiction. Obesity puts people at higher risk for many lethal diseases. Here is the list of the most overweight people in the world.
    1. Arya Permana
The youngster, from a small village in West Java, Indonesia, first went viral five years ago when he weighed more than 280lbs aged nine.
This fattest kid in the world was so big he could not wash normally, so he bathed in a pool outside.
He now walks 3km a day, plays basketball and other sports, can climb trees and ride a motorcycle for the first time and have a keto diet followed by kept recipes.
While he managed to lose 20lbs in four months after dietitians put him on a diet plan for fat loss consisting of fruits and vegetables and daily walk, exercise and swimming, Arya was still far from reducing the required weight.
    2. Drew Stewart
Drew Stewart, hasn't weighed himself in 10 years, but he wears a size 18X T-shirt. Although he hopes to be a candidate for losing weight surgery, he is worried about what the scale will say during his weigh-in at his upcoming doctor's visits. His morbid obesity is a 'health problem' that is putting him in danger of becoming bedridden like his 49-year-old cousin Chitoka Light, who weighs 680lbs and hasn't left her home in three years.
Looking back on his childhood, this fat person was a normal kid who rode bikes, swam, and played basketball. Drew believes the weight really started piling on when he moved to Atlanta to care for his mom after she got sick. Drew really wants to be a candidate for weight loss surgery, and he is excited to have an appointment with Dr. Procter and start his weight loss journey.
    3. Keithmartin
He was one of the most overweight people in the world.
Keith Martin, who died from pneumonia, had been bed-bound, unable to walk and at one point had not left his north London home for a decade. Sadly it was just eight months after Keith - who weighed 70 stone at his heaviest - had undergone a successful gastric sleeve that removed three-quarters of his stomach.
He was morbidly obese. He had six-egg fry-ups for breakfast then pizzas, kebabs, Chinese takeaways and Big Macs for lunch and dinner, all washed down with six pints of coffee and two litres of fizzy drinks.
Unemployed Keith admitted much of the weight had come from fat eating huge amounts of super-cheap fast food.
    4. Donna Simpson
How to lose weight fast? One of the easiest ways is the keto meal plan. But this plan is not applicable for the most overweight fat people in the world. She is one of the unusual people.
Miss Simpson, who wears XXXXXXXL dresses, eats whole cakes and bags of donuts and tries to move as little as possible. Her fans wanted her to become as large as possible and she quickly became a star in a bizarre fantasy fetish community that worshipped the overweight and bought pizzas for her to munch on. She never followed any weight loss diets for women.
But life is changing for Donna Simpson. The 600lb mother-of-two moved from New Jersey to Akron, Ohio, after her five-year relationship with fiancé Philippe Gouamba.
    5. Paul Jonathan Mason
He is the world's former heaviest man, weighing in at 70 stone - 444.5kg - at his peak. He is the heaviest recorded person in the United Kingdom.
Paul began binge eating in his twenties as a form of emotional detachment from issues that started in his childhood, including child abuse.
In 2014, Mason weighed 140kg or 22 stone, a total weight loss of 304kg, almost 48 stone. Though he mentioned that he hates living the way he is but he is hoping things get better in the New Year when he can get access to more treatment.
Paul hopes that his documentary, The World's Fattest Man: 10 Years On will help other people on the same journey before it's too late.
    6. Kenneth Brumley
Kenneth Brumley is one of the fattest people ever recorded, whose weight was confirmed. He was featured on the Channel 4 BodyShock documentary "Half Ton Dad", as a father of four, who weighed 1,033 pounds.
As a child, Brumley played basketball, baseball and American football which kept his weight average, but after a move to California at age 19, he stopped playing and the weight began to accumulate. At his heaviest, Brumley had a daily caloric intake of approximately 30,000 cal.
The first step in Brumley's treatment was a diet restricted to 1200 calories per day, which made him lose 167.5 pounds in only 40 days.

Exactly. I understand situations where someone is still obese, but can still can walk and buy food for themselves - exactly like alcohol or dr*g addiction works. But how anyone can buy food to their family members if they are obese? A form of co-addiction?

    • @iirekm
      @iirekm Před 2 měsíci +3

@@inesnaglic472 In Western world food is not that expensive. Housing is the most expensive thing (renting, buying or paying mortgage). Anyway, it's sick if someone from family feeds so obese people. It's similar if wife everyday gave a bottle of vodka to her addicted husband, just to make him feel well.

The American Cancer society says that 45% of cancer deaths are attributed to "modifiable" behaviors. As you can imagine, the vast majority of lung cancer fits this category. Half the cirrhosis deaths in the US are from alcoholism. People who get injured from riding a motorcycle, driving drunk, doing whatever daredevil feat. It's the same as being 250 pounds. It is an addiction to food. Pretty much every single one of these stories reveals a traumatic past that has not been treated in therapy.
I've lost 200 pounds but that only came after a lot of therapy and it still is a daily decision to hold myself accountable and be honest with myself about what I'm eating.
I don't think I could've lost the weight without therapy to treat my trauma.

Ever notice that morbidly obese people eat a high carb diet? I lost 50 lbs keeping my carb intake to 50 grams a day. I now rarely eat bread, pasta, pizza, rice, potatoes, cereal, deserts or any fast or junk food and really don't want any of it.

Potatoes are healthy and only have little calories compared to rice and pasta. If you eat wholegrain pasta and rice it is valuable food.

I would love to finally have my sleeve done. I have to go 60 days without a seizure before I can start the program and have gotten past it only once.
February 13, I was at 36 days seizure free when I had 5 in the waiting room of my primary doctors office. My first seizure on the floor, I was taken to the hospital for observation because when I landed on the floor I landed on my VERY large hernia (Stella). I can't have Stella removed until I have the stomach surgery because it's a ZERO survival rate.
I'm constantly in pain, it's hard to walk, and the depression is so hard sometimes to deal with. I just wished someone would say,
"come on, we can help you do do this!" I have amazing health insurance but I'm too high risk.
I'm 61 and really want to have this surgery before it kills me!

May I just say, from the bottom of my heart, I was heading down the wrong road when it came to my health, I’m 5 foot 9 and I was tipping 280lbs and well on my way to 300lbs and I fear if I had ever made it to 300 pounds I would have gave up all hope and just ate myself to the grave let’s just say an event happened and a motivation like never before swept over me and I just said to hell with this, I started fasting along with working out even though it felt like my 1st push-up would never happen, BUT IT DID! I will confess during the holidays I maintained my weight and floated between 230-235. I’m now almost below 200 lbs and am looking forward to summer vacation while looking way healthier and better.
    My goal is 180.

Wow this is almost exactly me. I'm 5'11 though, but I got up to 281lbs and remember being horrified at how close that was to 300. I got down to 240 by alternate day fasting and working out 5x a week. Then I got laid off, denied unemployment and fell into a depression. Stopped working out and just ate hot and readys from little caesars everyday because they were only 5 bucks smh....I went right back up to 286. I started again in January and I'm now down to 259. It's coming off slower this time, but I'm determined. I have the same goal weight of 180, but if I can just get under 200 I would be over the moon
