Yeah, it's really only on Trump though. He's the first President to never do the Correspondent's dinner. Heck, Reagan called in from the damn hospital after being shot! Trump has no sense of humor about himself and goes mental when someone makes a joke at his expense (see a few thousand tweets, going back long before he was President ). Most every other President I can recall had a pretty good sense of humor and laughed as hard as anyone in the room at the jokes about them. No ability to laugh at yourself is a very bad character trait.
Despite party differences, John Boehner and most republicans are decent people... Trump is not, neither are staunch Trumpsters.

Elections are every 2-4 years (4 years in the case of presidency) and the pendulum at times swings politically. I just know before 2015-2016 things were somewhat more...calmer overall? Now things are just so chaotic and divided. But in times like these, it is good to know how they (politicians/people) can be with each other. Bush even left Obama a letter and has a nice friendly relationship with Michelle.

I'm a republican. Obama seems like a nice guy to know as a friend BUT his policy was bad for America. Believe it or not but when Trump is done Trumps record on paper is going to look awesome. His unemployment numbers and jobs numbers and creating peace will all show on paper that he is the best president that we've had within the past 3 presidents. On the outside people hate him but on paper he's doing a great job.

Matty Natural Horsemanship Trump's riding off of Obama's success. He saved the country from a recession for Christ's sake. Trump's actual preformance as president is really starting to come into effect now. While the stock market is doing fine, it's in constant fluctuation as Trump flip flops on his economic policy and is openly committed to a trade war with China. Which, by the way, is a terrible idea as China has a tremendous amount of economic leverage over us. Trump's foreign policy is almost non-existent and just like recent termination of the Iran deal, shows that he has no idea what he's doing. I get he's trying to put American first, but you can't achieve your own goals without giving something up in the first place. On top of that, the white house is in constant disarray, and his staff have to live with the overwhelming threat of being fired each and every day. This doesn't even take into account the Muller investigation and Russian collusion, which even if Trump did not participate in himself, his campaign most certainly did. So yeah, while Obama wasn't the greatest president and did not deliver on some of his promises, I'd take him over Trump any day.
