I’m Latina and honestly, Maria looks so busted. Paris has gems falling off her left and right. Roxie is GORGEOUS but her dress is plain and she’s soooo overpriced. Kia is OK but feels very dated. Jett I LOVE because I redressed mine and she looks amazing redressed in goth aesthetic. I think hands down, the best collector doll for your money and what you get is Lily. She’s not busted or falling apart, she’s a decent price for how much you get, and she’s STUNNING.

In my personal opinion, Lily Cheng is the one who deserves the collector tag. She comes with almost 3 outfits for a reasonable price. Kia as special edition its my second one choice (mostly for the price, also).
As controversial Lily and Maria are, they are the only ones I think I worthy of being called "collector's". A big part of why I think this is because they both have designs that aren't just the high fashion that RH usually simulates. They are culturally inspired (if a bit stereotypical and misleading). Compared to the other collector's in RH, they're definitely worth it if only because they look so different from the RH look.
Thanks for the comparison Angel💕! Although I don't collect RH, much less collector's, I'm really into Maria as a first generation from a family who immigrated from Mexico. She really speaks to me and although I wished she had a more traditional-inspired outfit, she definitely is a doll grail for the future for me❤️.
I remember when Lily came out and people were complaining about price. I think she is now considered to be the best collector doll. She is actually my favourite RH doll.
On a side note imagine Jett and her outfit but as a SH doll. That would be so cool. Jett is kind of an odd one because her doll is so bad but her first outfit is so good.
All of these dolls are fantastic in comparison to other dolls on the market. Rainbow high/MGA has consistently delivered when it comes to their dolls and quality. As someone who collects dolls...my jaw dropped when I saw Maria in person. Her and Lily definitely have earned the right to be called "collector dolls". Can't wait to see what else RH has in store. And people need to have patience, many of these dolls go on deep clearance so you don't necessarily have to pay high prices for these ladies.

I just came across Maria on sale in TKMaxx in the UK for £69.99. I hadnt seen her before but immediately thought she was beautiful. I ordered her straight away.
To me Lily is the gold standard of them all. Kia Heart was the first and is my favorire of this group.
Paris said “he hates me wahhhhh” and jumped off her stand and off the table offing herself lmfao 🤣 also Simone Lilly and Lila all have the same face sculpt so roxi might have the same face as them

Roxie is one of those dolls where I see more value in a normal rainbow high doll this argue the characters like uma or Vanessa warrant a higher price point More then her with the props and second outfits. Also Maria would be great for me if they picked a purple that was the same saturation and intensity as the dress Because her hair now I feel clashes with the red because they are not on the same gamut.
I got Roxie for like $25 using all the Target Circle discounts, but I’m asking my man for either Lily Cheng, Maria Garcia since I can just tell him that they are on Walmart or Amazon. I want Paris but doubt he’ll give enough shit to hunt for it leading up to Christmas
I would prefer black or brown hair with white skull 💀 bag. I wish the dress wasn't that trumpet shape. Id prefer if it flowed out and went to the floor
I love Paris doll but I'd only get her if she was the price of the other dolls. She's $200 in my country.... other RH dolls are $50-$70. Storm twins are like $120 and you get 2 dolls.
Kia is my fave. I never was able to get her, but if she gets a junior high doll.. I will be racing to target!

I have all the special edition doll’s except for Paris at the moment and I think I’d agree with your ranking. I remember buying lily and almost having a mini heart attack because I remember she was so much more than all the other doll’s before her. And then I spent $135 for Maria lol 😅but Paris giiirrrll I will yet again spend the $100 butttt I want another one so I can play with her lol

Paris is my favorite. She’s coming in the mail tomorrow. I’m so excited! Personally, as a collector doll, I don’t think she’s overpriced at all, in fact I think it’s completely reasonable for an adult collector celebrity doll. Now, Monster high collector dolls are cheap and over priced, rainbow high is quality. Which I will admit, I think her boots and gems falling off is outrageous. Like mga do better on that! But that’s her only flaw, she is stunning. Maria is DEFINITELY over priced should get a zillion extra items. I will only get her on sale. Roxy is 100% overpriced, I got her on sale for $40. But Paris comes with a lot! And new unique items. Details! It is a collab so I bet Paris is getting a cut of what they sell. Of course she was going to be $99 and I think it’s reasonable. This is coming from a toy collector that has never paid over $70 for toys…. Till paris. Lol 🤷♀️ I even paid $70 for the rainbow high house. Lol

I personally don't think any of the dolls are worth the price they were sold at, definitely if we look at the normal €30 dolls. Why do we have to pay extra for diversity? And then controversial representation at that (Chinese and Mexican people have expressed their discomfort about Lily and Maria).
But as an international collector, the prices hit us more as we can't just get them on sale as they barely exist here 😅
They're gorgeous dolls, but I'll never get them (money-wise it wouldn't be responsible of me to get them for the prices they are, I only got Kia when she was €35 and I was already so upset about it... That was before the normal dolls had their price-hike)
Maria is the only special edition doll that's actually worth the price. I agree about everyone else also. Kia, Jett & Lily are my favorites and I hope to buy them someday.

I mean i don’t hate the use of roses because a lot of catrinas use that kind of flower but honestly roses aren’t relevant at all for the holiday, I mean there’s a lot of more things that doesn’t make sense about that doll like that ugly ass hat.
I mean I’ve been to plenty of day of the dead festival and celebration where mariachi inspired and rose adorned women are present. And the rose represents love and passion. Obviously the marigold is the most significant flower used in the celebration, but that doesn’t mean the rose can’t be used in representation.
