  • Riding UTV in the beautiful mountains of Seeley Lake Montana sounds great doesn't it? Lakes at the bottom of the mountains, snow still covering the top of the peaks, and absolutely breathtaking views around ever curve! The problem is unless you live near by, have a UTV, and a truck and trailer to haul it the the trail head, this sounds more like a dream than an experience of a lifetime.
Well that dream can be a reality and you do not have to own a UTV, truck, or trailer. Heck you don't even have to be from Montana! Our friend Curtis from Kurt's Polaris just opened Seeley Adventures in Seeley Lake, Montana and he invited us out to experience some family fun exploring Montana!
How does it work? All you have to do is sign up and show up! No UTV, no truck, no trailer, no gear, NO PROBLEM! Seeley Adventures had everything so that all you have to do is show up and have fun! We flew into the Missoula Airport, got a rental car, and a VRBO in Seeley Lake. Being you ride right from Seeley adventures there is no need to rent a truck or special vehicle, you just need a way to get to Seeley Lake.
My wife and I brought our kids out for a family trip and we all got to experience the beauty of Glacier Country Montana from the comfort of a new Polaris General! Because Seeley Adventures is a Polaris Adventures outfitter, all of the units have GPS map displays in the dash which Seeley Adventures preconfigured with rides of different lengths and times so you can simple pick how long of ride you want to go on and follow the map! This made me feel way better about riding in an area without ever riding UTV there before.
Being an experienced rider like I am I have a good sense of the level of riding and what was great about the rides we went on, the trails where well maintained and very user friendly meaning if you do not have much experience, you will be just fine! If you can drive a car, you'll be able to pilot a UTV down the trails to an experience you won't forget!
This was also my first time going on a Polaris Adventure and as simple as it was to fly in and go riding, I see a lot of opportunity for more fun adventures, in different vehicles, as we travel for different fun and work trips across the country!
This was a great experience we got to have as a family exploring territory we hadn't seen before. Being able to do something like this was a family bucket list type item that I assumed would take ample planning and preparation. The thing that has me excited was with the Polaris adventures program making this so simple to do, I can't wait to go on another family trip some where and make more memories together!

It really opened my eyes to how easy it is to go see new areas across the country.

Love the videos man. Hope to see you at HayDays. Just bought one of your old IQRs and want to ask a few questions about it. Enjoy the winter!

Hello! What questions do you have?

@@Levi_LaVallee well I have a lot of questions. I know you’re a busy guy though so I want to be respectful of your time and I’ll keep it short with the main couple. I got one of the 2013’s that has the extended tunnel mod with longer track done by the team and I was curious if you remember roughly how many of the 2013 IQRs actually got those mods? It seems like it was limited to only a handful of pro open sleds and maybe a freestyle sled or two and I know you’re one of the few people who could actually answer that. Is there any way of figuring out who’s sled I actually have? Like a chassis mark or anything the team would have put on there? I think it was Jake Scott’s after digging as deep as I could but was curious if there was any way to tell that for sure. If it was Jake’s, did he only have 1 race sled that season or were there numerous for each rider? It has the Amsoil championship stickers on the hood so I’m guessing it wasn’t a practice sled. Thanks for your time man, it’s greatly appreciate.

@@DIPSTICKTV Send me the last 4 digits of the vin and I will check in our records.
There were 2 mods made per rider . Back then we would keep new sleds from the previous year so we could work on them all summer building them into mods. So it would make sense that it was Jake Scotts sled as 2014 was his first year as a Pro with a Mod sled. Kyle, Pallin, Jake Scott, and myself all had them in 2014 season (all 2013 MY sleds) . That was my last year racing Snocross.
2008, or for sure 2009 Chris Kafka and Brett Bender had 128 mod sleds in the semi pro class, i started running one in 2010 and by 2012 i think all the factory pro riders were running them.

@@Levi_LaVallee 3744 are the last 4 digits. I definitely appreciate you taking the time to look into it and giving me the info. I was watching old vids trying to answer questions myself, found some old Mystik vids of the team that gave good looks of the sleds, realized someone trimmed my windshield to look like a traditional shaped one. Was pretty bummed when I realized that. Can’t seem to find a replacement in your style either so I’m guessing you had those custom made for the mod sleds. They were lower and came all the way down to the headlight screens instead of the traditional look. Oh well, I’m happy I was able to get my hands on it before people started messing with it more.

@@DIPSTICKTV Yes It was Jake Scotts Mod Sled for the 2014 season. The windshield was stock but had a black sticker that ran from the windshield to the "eye brow" of the head light.

right down your goal. then think about what you think it would take to get there (to the best of your ability). Start executing the things on your list and see if it starts moving you closer or further from the goal then adjust the list accordingly.
If you keep working hard at it, before long you are doing what you want to be doing.

That was the idea- I didn't know about the Polaris Adventures Outfitters that are across the country allow people to ride new machines (snowmobile, UTV, Slingshot, etc.) in some of the most amazing locations.
The goal was to inform people of it because next time you are on vacation some where, or have to travel on work but you have an afternoon before your flight the next day, you can get what ever kind of ride you would like to try and go have some fun without all the logistics of owning the machine, transporting, etc.
