If you feel like it’s expensive then opt for a vivo or a low spec version For me i wouldn’t have it any other way, this a car i can drive for years without getting bored.
Volkswagen is German for “People’s car”. The whole idea behind the brand was to bring mobility to an ordinary citizen. Not anymore! Ridiculously overpriced. What sad for us South Africans is that these are actually built right here at home but no price cut whatsoever. I love that people are waking up and buying Suzuki instead.
it's actually value for money though I love every single feature on the Polo life dsg my brother bought,you're spending money for a much more better experience..this facelift is more refined than the 2018 model.❤
The Rena Clio V has the best quality interior. The materials used inside are quite solid. I agree with you, the sweet spot in the range is the Polo Life DSG. But people will still go and buy the R Line for 500k.
Multi colour digital cockpit select into profiles is an optional extra the one you can view with rev counter and speed kilometre, the one you're driving is standard active info display if I'm not mistaken
Nice review bro. Just a small correction. This car delivers 70kw and 175nm as the manual. The Life DSG delivers 85kw and 200nm. So whilst I agree that this model is around R100k less than the R Line, to make a fair comparison it should be against the Life DSG which is R408k as the R Line only comes in DSG😊
I drive the R-line 2023: panaroma, auto, black diamond rimz and IQ lights....to name a few... Got it for a discounted price of R460k (full specs) and new from the floor. IM LOVING IT!
@@FinancesByLulu banking with investec means a higher salary or an entrepreneur right? I would also assume that you don't really care much about performance since you didn't consider a low mileage 2022 polo gti for R520k
@clivemanzi7494 oh noo...I was not comfortable buying a pre-owned. I did not necessarily have the time to do research for it just to make sure that it ticks all the boxes. The current price of my Rline is 510k. My car has a mileage of 3k, meaning I'd easily return it if I had buyers remorse...well... I don't. I am generally happy.
@@FinancesByLulu I fully understand your situation and Ialso get that you're not stressing about performance. When you actually think about this, for a car of this price bracket it should come with a 5 year/90 000 km or a full maintenance plan because if you want a piece of mind motoring, you'll need to extended your service plan and also buy an after warranty because the dsg gearbox cause fail and cost you a lot of money. If you think about the actual price of your car, it's R460k plus around R50k for full maintenance plan for 5 years.
My Friend's partner bought this car while my partner Bought 2019 Megane GT with 12k km on the clock. The car was going for R295k and my Partner wanted to buy same Polo as her friend. 6 months later she thanked me because her friend is paying over 10k p.m while she's paying 6k p.m incl Insurance. Megane is premium inside and that 151Kw is enough to keep up with many sports cars. Drove from CT to PLK last year, Ne ke Cruza ka 150km/h without feeling like i'm speeding.
