BRILLIANT AND MOST IMPRESSIVE ! JUILIANI WOULD HAVE FELT SO HAPPY TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE MUSICIANS IN THE 21TH CENTURY WHO PLAY HIS MUSIC WITH SUCH FEELING AND DEXTERITY ! THANK YOU FOR THE PLEASURE OF THE EAR YOU HAVE PROVIDED TO US ALL !
Nonsense. This idea (where did it come) that we must adhere to some tempo to honor the composer is ridiculous. Who wrote that “rule?” ‘Oh this is the way it is supposed to be….” Yeah right. Desiderio is great because of his communicative skills. Shine on sir. In this situation he is NOT playing in ensemble. That is a totally different approach than playing solo.
I agree, it coulbe interesting to see original manuscript of Giuliani, many peoples and "experts" could be suprprised . If hearing Barrios original playing his compositions, no constnt temp is presented-
Great skills of course. I just wish that classical guitar players would stay on tempo, constant accelerandos and ritardandos that are not written in the score.
@@ManuelOsorioDoren I dont know if I understand you correctly. What I mean is that classical guitarists get carried away and creative in a way that a skilled violinist or a pianist never would.
Well, it's not exactly a formal sonata form. In my view, the accel. and ritard. are used to great dramatic affect for bel canto. It's a long piece and challenging to keep the audience's attention. Which in this 'live' performance is spellbound at the edge of their seats. There is nothing worse than feeling the chair get hard under your arse😉.
Идеальное понимание гитарной музыки👍

No need to thank me, I'm happy to have been of service.
Really? But that's sad. Classical guitarists pr Classical musicians in general? In all styles?

That's just Desiderio's style. Most guitarists don't do that
