I had one query, Parag Parikh Alpha in your video is showing 8.87 and however currently it is 2.47 on tickertape. Is Alpha value dynamic and keeps on changing?? If that is the case then is Alpha reliable to pick our mutual fund selection. Kindly share your views on this.

April 4 usually i start investing 25k as a sip in below elss,
1. Axis growth
2. Mirae asset
3. This year started with IIFL nifty 50
4. PPF..
Which is 1L, EPF is about 35k, remaining 15K, I will add my Child's fee.. so 1.5L in 80C done..
I should start with Parag, if not in ELSS, at least in PP Flexi cap in a monthly sip..
Portfolio concentration should be high or low?
I am investing in quant tax plan.. But adani and ambuja cement investments are not coming under holdings? Is that changed?

But i would like to know from ur perspective and as per the ranking given that whether it is safe to invest in Canara and Kotak funds as around 25 % of their portfolio is in Banks which may get affected due to the oncoming recession. Would you still rank them 2nd and 3rd? I am looking for a long term investment in ELSS funds. Please advise.

Sir, It would be great if you could share a video about tax on mutual funds. People upload videos about "invest x amount for x years and your money will become x after those years". No one is explaining with examples that after x years actually how much we will be getting in hand after all tax deduction and expense ratio or exit load. In the new tax regime, there is no incentive for tax savings. So tax saving investments are needless. Better to invest in other performing
equity mutual funds. Also there is no lock in period in equity MFs ( other than ELSS funds).

The main parameter you have not considered is -Capture Ratio.Apart from this all other parameters are available everywhere.
mirae asset elss has given consistent rolling returns till 5 years which are amongst best in category. can you please reconsider it.

No, it is calculated by the date of investment. so if you invest in SIP on the 36th month, you can withdraw after 3 years in SIP. somehow tricky here.

how is high beta bad? Its only bad if you dont want volatility, because high beta also means you have a chance to beat the market..
Quant is giving good returns . Till date they sell the holdings of ambuja cement and adani ports.
Bandhan/ idfc tax fund is also one of the best

Please revisit your source, quant tax plan has no exposure in ambuja or adani ports.
They have shifted their fund
I think ultimately returns matters. And if a fund consistently performing. why did you not take SBI Long Term Equity Fund - Direct Plan - Growth in your video? please compare returns of both the funds and make a video. also how 0.5 to 0.8 percent extra expense ratio impact on the wealth if a fund is giving 5 to 8 % extra returns eventually. SBI expense ratio is 1.02% and Parag Parikh 0.77%.
