Mom and Bucky's home will be sold soon, so I decided to take one more walkthrough before the closing. I share a few memories built there over the years.
Miss Phyllis and Mr Bucky left their mark on many people's heart's. They may be gone on now but they will not be forgotten. Thank you for the walk through.
Gotta admit, I got a bit teary-eyed when I saw the stove and those counters again. I guess I kind of forgot how many times I learned something new from that beautiful lady. She really was a big part of my life, too. My own mother had passed when I was in my mid 20's so there were many kitchen tricks and recipes I got straight from Miss Phyllis. And, yes, my own kitchen has a lot of tools she used and my own recipes are "seasoned" by her lessons.
It made me sad to see the house empty. Phyllis had filmed a tour of their home before and shared it, back when they were considering selling it and moving to the mountains. I only knew Phyllis and Mr. Bucky from their videos but I loved them. I do sincerely miss them. Those of us that watched the videos have memories of the house and yard ourselves. Your mom was happy when she bought the perfect little cart to haul the groceries from her car to the back deck door. She and Mr. Bucky and the dogs used to spend a lot of time in the den where their recliners were, that's where your mom would have Steely talk to us, lol. We saw the foyer a lot when your mom was fostering the 2 kittens she found under the RV. I remember your mom and Mr. Bucky working in their backyard to make it lovely. It snowed once and your mom was so cute about it. Of course we all loved your mom's kitchen, that's where she shared her cooking with us, told us about her life and provided subtle important life lessons. I always felt like I was in the kitchen with a favorite Aunt when I watched your mom's cooking videos, they truly were about much more than the food she was cooking. I hope the family that bought the house will understand how full of love it was and that they'll be happy there, they need to know that a special couple lived there once and that their love and warmth made it a real home not merely a house. ❤️
I don't know how you could do that, walking through that house without breaking down in tears. Your mother and stepfather were amazing people. They turned a house into a beautiful home. Thank you so much for sharing that with us all. Much love from Bartow Florida
Who would have the gall to dislike this video? RIP Sweet Phyllis, sweet Cooking lady and Mr. Bucky. I miss you everyday when I am looking for a recipe to cook for that day. Stay strong Steve. I know even though you're a man, that you miss them both. They were just RESCUED from 2020. Praying for you during this time. At least when you still grieve, you don't grieve as those with no hope. They were strong in church and you will meet again. 😢😢🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️😘 Cheryl from NC❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
Right? Because youtube viewers also include 12 year olds that have no parents teaching them to be respectful well mannered decent kids soon to grow into hoodlums with the professions such as CEO of the prison block...or with a high school yearbook photo with their name and right under the captions MOST LIKELY TO BE INCARCERATED BEFORE GRADUATION.
Perhaps they just were so sad. I had tears with this one for sure. The empty house and all the memories of Mrs Phylis and Mr Bucky and the fur babies living in that house came flooding back. 💔 Please note: I hit the like button, but some people are different. Just my thoughts.
I forgot to mention how ironic it is that the new owners are also named Stokes! That seems like it's meant to be, doesn't it? Thanks again for sharing this with us, Stephen!
Thank you for including us in this tour.. It brought tears to my eyes missing Phyllis .Our lives have been enriched from knowing her..You are an enormous blessing continuing her channel !
You are very kind to take us there again. Seeing the counter and stove where she once stood. We've all become "family " in a sense . God bless you and continued prayers ❤️
I could almost hear Miss Phyllis say “bye for now” when you were in the kitchen! I just loved her voice and the way she spoke! She would tell a story about something she did as a kid and then would say “I did y’all!” It was so cute.
Mrs Domino oh my gosh yes!! I loved that! I’m trying to think of more. We should ask Steven if he had any stories about funny saying she and Mr. Bucky had!
I used to dream of buying their home when they talked about putting it on the market, it’s so beautiful and well maintained. They both were such hard workers, they were amazing! Miss them so😔
When your mom had the house for sale before I wanted it so bad but I live in Ohio, it is an absolute beautiful home. I honestly haven't been able to watch her channel since she passed but I wanted to get one last look at their home. I'll meet Mr Bucky and Mrs Phyllis in heaven some day ❤
Your mom and Mr. Bucky were wonderful people. The Lord welcomed them in as good and faithful servants, I am sure. They sure blessed my life. I cried when your mom posted the video about Mr. Buckys death. So shocking. Her illness, too. The Lord bless them and you, until you’re together again.
Oh I cried real tears. We all loved Miss Phyllis & Mr Bucky. God's blessings on you Stephen and your family, and Ernie & his family. This is the house that Phyllis & Bucky built.. with their Love.
This made me tear up, especially the Kitchen. When I found out Phyllis had passed, I honestly felt as though I had lost another amazing friend. Seeing the house emptied gutted me, but the Kitchen undid me. I miss Phyllis and Bucky so very much. May they both rest in eternal peace. They both are greatly missed.
Thank you for taking us through the house one last time. Your mom took us on a tour of the house when she and Bucky put it up for sale to find a mountain home. I loved it. Your mom was a meticulous housekeeper and I could see she had great pride in her home. She and Bucky just seemed like soulmates. They had a lot of good years together. I’m glad I got to meet her and Bucky through her u-tube channel. I really miss her and I know you do too. However, she and Bucky are together forever with Jesus and your sister. They’re waiting now for the rapture to meet the rest of your family in the clouds. Peace be with you always.
Stephen, thank you so much for sharing this last walk through Phyllis and Bucky’s home. I found myself feeling quite emotional when you went in the kitchen and the room we saw them in so often. I remember them in their recliners and the pups in Mr. Bucky’s lap. They were wonderful people and I see they raised their children to be the same. You know, it’s really funny how we, as subscribers, can become so close to some people we watch on CZcams. I can say in all honesty that I felt love for your mom and Mr. Bucky. They were very special to a lot of people. Once again I just want to thank you for sharing some of your sweet memories with us. Peace , love and prayers to you and your family.
Miss Phyllis was so proud of her house. She and Mr. Bucky worked hard on it. And she was so proud of her children. I'm so glad you have kept her channel up and going. I truly do miss them. Thank you for sharing with us.
I rewatched your mother’s walkthrough from the time they got the house ready to sell in 2015. Now it’s several hours later and I finally watched your final walkthrough. Your mother and Mr. Bucky were like dear neighbors and I looked forward to visiting with them thru you tube. Liked watching Mr. Bucky’s channel too. Shared some things in common with your mama like going thru a divorce and raising my child by myself, then a second marriage to a Christian man and still married 45 yrs later. I had pancreatic cancer and the Whipple procedure was done at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester on Dec. 2nd, the day after my 65th birthday in 2009, also had a poodle (but just one; she loved to “dance for popcorn”). Stephen, thank you so much for keeping the channel up! Love your reminiscing , the cooking and sharing of recipes. Even the plane ride! My husband had his private pilot’s license and we even flew around the IDS tower in Mpls when that was still legal. My husband is a veteran of the Korean War and we celebrated his 90th birthday last Sunday; he was working 5hrs a day 5 days a week but retired on Oct 2nd two days b/4 his birthday. My parent are passed and my only sibling, my brother, passed at 73 yr from cancer in a matter of months in 2013. Memories are wonderful but some days I feel so sad, but as I’m sure you are, I’m looking forward to Christ coming again to take His loved ones home. May God bless you and your family. Just know so many people from all over loved and cherished your mama and Mr. Bucky. 🌈💖
Without Miss Phyllis and Mr. Bucky, the place seems empty, quiet and almost too peaceful. I remember when Miss Phyllis did the tour of the house too. This made me sad to see the house so empty. They are certainly missed by many. Thank you so much for posting. Bless you.
I found that so sad. An empty house and dear people gone. My 80 year old husband died 3 months ago. I guess my house will look like that one day. Bless Phyllis and Bucky and you. Try to look forward . You have a whole life ahead of you. Make the most of every minute. Time goes so fast . ❤️
I had to wait a while before I could write this. I just couldn't see through the tears. It just breaks my heart not to see your mother standing at that stove. I felt like I knew her and I miss her so much. Thank you for doing this for all of us who cared so much for those two wonderful people.
Thank you so much for sharing this final walk through. It brought back so many fond memories of your mother, Mr Bucky, and all the doggies she loved so dearly. Miss Phyllis was a wise and wonderful woman and she will always hold a special place in my heart.
I will always remember your Mom and Bucky, she did updates every now and then sitting in their recliners with Sonny and Steely at their feet or in their beds. I loved when she would speak as Steely complaining about Sonny. Lol ! I still watch her videos and use her recipes. When you walked into the kitchen and I couldn't hold back the tears and I'm teary trying to type this. Thank you so much for taking us through the house and sharing memories. ❤
Isn't,t it funny how you can grow to love, and miss, people that you,ve never met! I wish I,d have found Phyllis,s channel much sooner! Thinking of you today Miss Phyllis and Mr. Bucky.😭😢
It gives you a feeling of loneliness. They were very special people. She seemed to be knowledgeable of about everything. Loved hearing the stories from Bucky.
Oh my goodness, when you walked into that empty kitchen! I could still see Phyllis cooking there and the incredible dishes that she prepared. Phyllis was one-of-a-kind; such an inspiration and a fine person. Thank you for sharing. An end of a lifetime. ❤️❤️
I’ve been there. My dad in 1988 and mom in 1990. That last walk thru is rough. I still drive by my parents home. After 30 years they still have the same door knocker with my maiden name. Lots of things removed or redone. The memories we have forever. ❤️
I can't imagine the sadness you and your family must feel. Phyllis and Bucky will always be missed, and they were most assuredly a team. Ironic that another Stokes family will be moving in. No other name needed! Thank you for sharing this most intimate piece of your family with us on CZcams. RIP Bucky and Phyllis. Miss you.
I’ll add my 2-cents to the common theme- thanks SO MUCH for taking the time to do that! It was a bit of a kick in the gut, but I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. I go back and watch the videos regularly- I hope she would recognize her influence in the things I cook. And I’m so glad you’re adding to that well of experience- thanks for putting in the time week after week. No doubt, she’s extremely proud!
I miss Phyllis so much. She is one of the very first people I watched when I went onto CZcams. I think in that first video I saw, she was making an old fashioned version of chocolate fudge. I loved her southern accent and her down home recipes. RIP, Phillis. You are always in our hearts.
And in the blink of an eye they are both gone. Life is so very precious. I’m going to call my mom now and let her know how much I love her. Thanks for posting this...♥️
GrannyLaLa 1960 i am so sorry that you no longer have your mom to hug. But please know that I am certain that her spirit is, and always will be, very near. I also know for a fact that one day we all will be reunited with our loved ones... I hope your own spirit is in a good place tonight and always Do remember to take good care of YOU ♥️
Bittersweet...in my mind's eye I could see Phyllis standing by that stove. Your mother was the person who showed me that yes, I CAN cook. I lost my dad in March (97 years old), my brother (only sibling) in 2018 unexpectedly at 67, and my mom in 2016 at age 91. We just, and I mean JUST, sold dad's house (the second oldest house in town -- 1702). I will miss it, as we moved there in 1965 and dad did a lot of work restoring it. A great place to grow up. Time marches on. As I said...bittersweet.
Thank you so much Stephen for showing your mom and Buckey’s house to us one last time. That was such a sweet, kind and very thoughtful thing to do for all of us. I remember so many of those rooms. She shared the master bathroom in one of her videos(she had a project going on in there at the time)and she did love that black and white check floor.( I do too, but I’m not bold enough to ever do anything like that. How wonderful that you have such sweet memories to cherish. I know she must have been smiling down on you when she saw you take that last tour for us. Good job Colonel. 🙏🏻❤️
I miss Mrs. Phyllis and Mr. Buckey, they seemed like family to me , they both were good souls ! Thank you for sharing their lives and home with all of us
So many memories, Miss Phyllis and Mr Bucky loved their home, and it was a joy to "visit" with them and to hear and appreciate what they wanted to share. Yes, over the years we have all been in almost every part of their lovely home as your mother talked about and showed us her various projects. They are so greatly missed.
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill and a time to heal; a time to break down and a time to build up; A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together ; a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing A time to get and a time to loose, a time to keep and a time to cast away, A time to rend and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak A time to love and a time to hate, a time of war and a time of peace....” Ecclesiastes 3:6 The Stokes family were and remain people of decency, respect and kindness. Thank you for the gifts you have given the world, not only to those you knew but to those whom you’ll never meet. Your impact remains in the millions of minds and hearts you’ve touched.
I missed the kitchen😢. She was a classy, kind and lovely lady. I still miss watching her videos. Every time I think of what I was going to cook for supper I checked for her videos. Thank you for sharing her with us.I agree with the other lady her voice was so soft an calming very sweet just like her.
Bittersweet. I loved your mom and stepdad and there's a lingering feeling of them still in that house. But they are both in a much better place and together again in Heaven. I see your mom in your face - there's a definite resemblance, so she lives on in you and your family. I hope you continue to share your own adventures. A confession: After a really stressful day, there's nothing like putting on one of your mom's videos to decompress. She had the most soothing voice!
It’s crazy to me how similar you look at talk like your mom. So awesome. I never comment but I was a huge fan and miss them as much as anyone. You’re a good man
Thsnks again. For the last and final home tour. I so miss your Mom. I still watch her cooking videos repeatedly. Take care and God Bless you and your family. ❤
They lived a full life together. One of my favorite videos is the two of them telling their story of how they met. Their faith was solid and they were proud to be a witness. I’m so glad she had a CZcams channel and now we get to know you! Thanks for filling the empty spot we all feel by their absence. You’re a good man, Stephen. Thank you and God bless!
I'm not part of the your biological family but I just wanted to let you know how much I loved watching the videos of your mom and Mr. Buckey. I never missed a day. They were a very loving and caring couple. People we all should aspire to emulate. Prayers for you and your family.
Goodbye to Miss Phyllis and Mr. Bucky. I hope the new Stokes family who moves in has as lovely a life and builds as many wonderful memories as the previous Stokes family.
Thank you for the final tour of Miss Phyllis' & Mr. Bucky's home. I loved all of the videos and followed her for a long time. My heart broke when the kitchen was shown in the video. I could still see Miss Phyllis standing at that stove cooking and talking. I loved watching her videos. She had such a lovely calming voice and such a wonderful demeanor. I hope the next family will love her and Mr. Bucky's home as good as they did. Thank you for so much for taking us through this beautiful home one more time. I will never forget Miss Phyllis & Mr. Bucky.
I miss Miss Phyllis so much. Her sweet voice so soft and gentle. Love the way she cooked and all the great recipes that I kept. Mr. Bucky her favorite companion and partner, all the puppies around them it was a pleasure to watch her. I’ll be missing her for quite a while may they both Rest In Peace 🙏🙏
Incredibly sad. They were so loved. I remember when they first put the house up for sale. They were planning on building a tiny home on the mountain property. Now they live in the mansion God prepared for them. I look forward to meeting them in heaven. Take care.
Such a beautiful old house. Your family was truly blessed. I will never forget your mom. 🥰 Thank you for sharing the house and the memories. Much love. 🥰
When I saw the kitchen I wanted to hear “Ok I’ll dish up and see you in a minute” Your videos have really helped people re bond with their kitchens in this awful time, we had your Mother’s eggs today!
Your mother had that house absolutely decorated gorgeously and now with everything moved out it’s still a beautiful home. I have to admit it makes me sad a little bit but I know your mama realizes everything has an end and a new beginning. It is very very neat that the new owners have the same last name as your mama and Becky just a shout out to everybody who loves her really🎂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
I miss your Mom, Mr. Bucky and pups. Did not know her personally, but visited her site many times. Your Mom was like family to many. RIP. God has reached down and closed his hand. Life well lived.
Your childhood home reminds me of the one I grew up in. We tend to want to maintain 'ownership' after we leave because our memories revolve around our home. But memories remain no matter who lives there now. The new owners will be blessed to be enveloped in a home where the Lord was honored and where so many wonderful meals were served. Your mom and Mr Bucky were/are very special people who will never be forgotten. I will be looking for them when it's my turn to go Home!! I'm sure they are already very settled in their new Home, enjoying all sorts of things we can't yet imagine. Thanks for sharing.
"A House Is Not A Home" A chair is still a chair Even when there's no-one sitting there But a chair is not a house And a house is not a home When there's no-one there to hold you tight And no-one there you can kiss goodnight A room is still a room Even though there's nothing there but gloom But a room is not a house And a house is not a home When the two of us are far apart And one of us has a broken heart Now and then I call your name And suddenly your face appears But it's just a crazy game When it ends, it ends in tears Darling, have a heart Don't let one mistake keep us apart I'm not meant to live alone Turn this house into a home When I climb the stairs And turn the key Oh, please be there Still in love with me
I just wanted to say that your mother was an amazing person. She had the most humble spirit, yet I can see her being a firm mother. She did an amazing job raising her children. I'm so glad she jad Bucky in her life. I miss her amd think about her so much. It is so sad how fast a persons life flies by. This should be a lesson to us all. We are all here for an appointed amount of time and with that time we should all leave a lasting loving affect on other people's lives. Your mother touched so many lives and knowing this should leave all those who loved her with such great joy. May we all leave such an amazing legacy. God Bless and thank you for the one last memory of this home that was filled with so much love!
Ok...had to watch again. This time I cried! How is it that folks I never met could make me so emotional! I just know how much the house meant to them. I hope your mom's videos stay up forever. I can't imagine not watching them again and again! 💖😥
My dear young man walking through your moms home I am 100% sure that’s one of the hardest things you would have done that day but you got through it and you let us share your last moments in your mom‘s Home and her favorite man Bucky be in gods arms resting and smiling down at her beloved family she left behind.❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Bittersweet as I adored your mother, Miss Phyllis. Miss Phyllis had such an elegant southern home and was a phenomenal homemaker ....she was an amazing person who was loved by those who tuned into her world. Miss Phyllis Stokes gone but never forgotten. Thank you so much for carrying on and doing this for us it is if we are all mourning her loss together which I know she would love that you have carried on with her channel!
This lovely home speaks volumes of the love of the family who lived there. It’s no coincidence that the new owners share the same last name. I can still see Miss Phyllis walking us through the home sharing precious memories of the draperies she created, the stately furniture and her hand work on it, and every detail which made this house their home. When you showed the kitchen, I felt a deep pang of sadness remembering the videos she made and how careful she was to make certain that we could see each step she took preparing those awesome meals, with tea, of course. I miss them both so very much but I am very grateful to have been able to share a bit of their rich, Faithful journey. They were two extraordinary people. God’s Blessings on your families and their video families.
Stephen I sensed a sadness in you I know that the house has a lot of memories of your young life and Renee‘s life as well with your parents sadly I wish I would see Ernie become more proactive in joining you as you continue your mom‘s channel and that would really bring joy to her and Mr. Bucky great job and you are on your own journey in life and your childrenHave started theirs it’s been a long way. Great job Colonel Ritter!
Miss Phyllis and Mr Bucky left their mark on many people's heart's. They may be gone on now but they will not be forgotten. Thank you for the walk through.
There is nothing as sad as an empty home filled with memories. Still cannot believe they both are gone.

Your mom was a treasure and the epitome of a gracious Southern lady. She is missed. She touched many people with her kindness.
Will any of us ever forget....”Hey Ya’ll Phyllis Stokes here SouthernFrugal.com” Ohhh the memories and the things she taught me. Thank you Stephen ♥️
❤️

So beautifully spoken Hanna of 2 Beautiful and Special Souls we love and miss dearly.
♥️
Very well said. I agree
❤️
A lot of living went on in that home. Just think though...Mr. Bucky and Miss Phyllis have mansions in heaven now. 🧡

Probably heard this a thousand times, but I miss her soothing voice.
Me too. She was special.
I miss watching and hearing her voice too.
Videos are still here.
Carla Harbin I do too, Sandi
Did Buckys wife recently pass?? I watch a lot of her cooking videos?! Was she sick or maybe these videos were old?
You are very kind to take us there again. Seeing the counter and stove where she once stood. We've all become "family " in a sense . God bless you and continued prayers ❤️
We loved your mom and Mr. Bucky. Cherish your memories, they were good people.
Thank you! This was a blessing to see! We loved your mom and Mr. Bucky. May their legacy and memory live on forever. Amen.

and add yeah
Mrs Domino oh my gosh yes!! I loved that! I’m trying to think of more. We should ask Steven if he had any stories about funny saying she and Mr. Bucky had!
Mrs Domino and I loved how she said carrots (carrOTS) and shrimp (srimp)
Lynn Williams me too. I just said 🥕 that way .... yesterday 😊

Your parents were such nice looking, and warm people, thank you for the tour, I know they were proud of there home
😢 Gone, but not forgotten. We did love them so. I'm not gonna lie, I can't stop crying.
I’m not one for crying on the outside-mostly on the inside, but right now I am crying on the outside.
Sad but great to remember. Thank You

Bucky. 🌈💖
Sure do miss your mom's sweet face and voice as she taught us all her recipes, rest in peace dear one!
Without Miss Phyllis and Mr. Bucky, the place seems empty, quiet and almost too peaceful. I remember when Miss Phyllis did the tour of the house too. This made me sad to see the house so empty. They are certainly missed by many. Thank you so much for posting. Bless you.
It makes me emotional. I have seen so many videos from that kitchen. Miss her...
Me as well.
I held it together until you got to the kitchen. I can still see her there and hear her voice. Thank you, Stephen.
Jane Jones me too! I could literally hear her say “hey y’all!
Yes! Pouring the two glasses of sweet tea.
I found that so sad. An empty house and dear people gone. My 80 year old husband died 3 months ago. I guess my house will look like that one day. Bless Phyllis and Bucky and you. Try to look forward . You have a whole life ahead of you. Make the most of every minute. Time goes so fast . ❤️
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m sending you a big hug 🤗 and love ❤️
My deepest condolences. Much love!
@@kellygirl8327 You have no idea how much that truly warmed my heart. You are a lovely kind person ❤️
@@alexd9850 Thank you so very much. Every kind thought truly helps. ❤️
Look forward--I love that. Thank you, Carol!
Really miss your Mom and Mr. Bucky. ❤ Good people. Thanks for sharing Steve.
Thank you. Phyllis and Mr.Bucky were a blessing to us all.
I had to wait a while before I could write this. I just couldn't see through the tears. It just breaks my heart not to see your mother standing at that stove. I felt like I knew her and I miss her so much. Thank you for doing this for all of us who cared so much for those two wonderful people.
I can't believe how much I miss Phyllis. She was so calming and kind...i learned so much from her❤
Thank you so much for sharing this final walk through. It brought back so many fond memories of your mother, Mr Bucky, and all the doggies she loved so dearly. Miss Phyllis was a wise and wonderful woman and she will always hold a special place in my heart.
Very sad but the Lord has given them a much more beautiful heavenly home now.
Yes, this is not our home here!
Yes! I do think so!
Hey Kevin
For eternity
Amen.
Awww, thank you for sharing! Just enjoyed the past years watching and learning from Miss Phyllis....Rest in paradise Ms. Phyllis and Mr. Bucky 💓
This is one of the saddest videos I've ever seen, especially the kitchen, but thank you for showing us.
Thanks so much for showing us the house she was such a special cook! Blessings and prayers to you and the family.✝🙏❤
And in the blink of an eye they are both gone. Life is so very precious. I’m going to call my mom now and let her know how much I love her.
Thanks for posting this...♥️
Yes. Still cannot believe both have passed.
I’m sure your mom will love that. I lost my Mama 1/31/2017 and miss her every day.
@@GrannyLaLa1960 Condolences Xx
Please stay in touch. We would like to hear from you from time to time. Like it or not you have become a part of our lives.
Your mom was an outstanding lady and educator.
Thank you Stephen. I still feel the love of your Mom and Mr Bucky. God is so good.
I cried, your mom was such a beautiful soul.
She was a beautiful lady and will be greatly missed.
I miss Mrs. Phyllis and Mr. Buckey, they seemed like family to me , they both were good souls ! Thank you for sharing their lives and home with all of us
They were just like family to many people . very special . but the family you would actually choose to have
So many memories, Miss Phyllis and Mr Bucky loved their home, and it was a joy to "visit" with them and to hear and appreciate what they wanted to share. Yes, over the years we have all been in almost every part of their lovely home as your mother talked about and showed us her various projects. They are so greatly missed.
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill and a time to heal; a time to break down and a time to build up;
A time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together ; a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing
A time to get and a time to loose, a time to keep and a time to cast away,
A time to rend and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak
A time to love and a time to hate, a time of war and a time of peace....”
Ecclesiastes 3:6
The Stokes family were and remain people of decency, respect and kindness.
Thank you for the gifts you have given the world, not only to those you knew but to those whom you’ll never meet. Your impact remains in the millions of minds and hearts you’ve touched.
So true. Ecclesiastes. Sad to see the house without them. Give Mr. Bucky a burger!!
You’re a good man
Thanks, Dylan!
I love Phyllis's use of color on the walls. Seems like a special place. We miss her and Buckey and the puppies.
Thsnks again. For the last and final home tour. I so miss your Mom. I still watch her cooking videos repeatedly.
Take care and God Bless you and your family. ❤
They are so missed!!! Thank you for taking us along.
The best story!
I'm not part of the your biological family but I just wanted to let you know how much I loved watching the videos of your mom and Mr. Buckey. I never missed a day. They were a very loving and caring couple. People we all should aspire to emulate. Prayers for you and your family.
Thank you for this sweet farewell. God bless you & your family.
Whoever lives in this home will be blessed with some lovely energy 🙏♥️
Bucky.
I hope the new owners love the house like your mom and Mr Bucky did. Thank you for sharing.Sure miss these 2 wonderful people.
Cried through the whole thing. I kept expecting Ms. Phyllis or Mr. Bucky to be around the next corner.
So sad...Thankyou for sharing, and thankyou God for Miss Phyllis and Mr Bucky and what they shared!❤
This makes me sad. I loved your mother and I am so so sorry that she died. She made this world a better place.
Ty for the tour, you seem to have a lot of your mother's ways. She & Mr Bucky are missed by many. God bless you & your family.
Take care.
Thank you for one last tour, I miss Phyllis, Mr. Bucky and the pups so very much.
Such a beautiful old house. Your family was truly blessed. I will never forget your mom. 🥰 Thank you for sharing the house and the memories. Much love. 🥰
You are so welcome!
Miss them both.dont seem that long
When I saw the kitchen I wanted to hear “Ok I’ll dish up and see you in a minute” Your videos have really helped people re bond with their kitchens in this awful time, we had your Mother’s eggs today!
Thank you for sharing one last look at their house, I could just see her over her stove teaching & cooking. Really miss her. :D
"A House Is Not A Home"
A chair is still a chair
Even when there's no-one sitting there
But a chair is not a house
And a house is not a home
When there's no-one there to hold you tight
And no-one there you can kiss goodnight
A room is still a room
Even though there's nothing there but gloom
But a room is not a house
And a house is not a home
When the two of us are far apart
And one of us has a broken heart
Now and then I call your name
And suddenly your face appears
But it's just a crazy game
When it ends, it ends in tears
Darling, have a heart
Don't let one mistake keep us apart
I'm not meant to live alone
Turn this house into a home
When I climb the stairs
And turn the key
Oh, please be there
Still in love with me
That was very touching!!!! ❤❤❤👍
I love that house. Your mother was a wonderful house keeper.
This is so sad.
God Bless to you and your family, Steve. Your mom and Bucky were one of a kind, warm, real and generous people. So appreciated, loved and missed!
I hope the family that brought Mrs. Phyllis's home feels the love that lived there. Thanks for sharing.
