All you actually need to do is to camp to top 10 and start getting elims there.
Off spawn kills don't mean much and sure ain't worth the risk if you struggle to rank up

Yeah after Elite it definitely gets very contested. If you’re good enough then that’s some easy off-spawn kills. If not, then you need to find something else..
