Welcome to my budget friendly kitchen island transformation using shiplap wallpaper!! In this Mama's messy life it is not easy to go after my home renovations as much as I would love, but in today's video I finally get to share my very first home project with you all! I want to inspire all you Mighty Mama's to become a Mom CEO! Not only are we CEO of our babes and homemaking but we CAN also renovate our homes too!
If you have been putting some home projects on the back burner because you are overwhelmed with it all then hopefully this video will get you out of that rut and up in action to start one today!
This budget friendly kitchen Island transformation was less than one hundred dollars and completed within two days. This could have been done in one day but my husband and I decided to move at a slower pace and wrap it all up in a weekend project. I did do most of the work myself but since he was home I made sure to utilize his help! However, even if you have no help this is definitely easy enough for you to do all alone Mama!

Stickers are every mother’s nightmare lol!!! Wallpaper gives me anxiety! But you make it look so easy! Reminds me when I helped hubby put tints on our car lol! I love how it’s turning out such a difference even made the space look larger and brighter xoxo

That looks so great! Such a good refresh, for an affordable price! There are a few things I want to do in our house, but it's definitely going to be a little at a time. Especially since the main thing I want to do is a total remodeling of our master bathroom. Why does that stuff have to be so expensive?! Oh well, one day...
I love this transformation. Great job😍 I so want your shiplap wallpaper but nobody seems to stock the same type as yours here in the UK. There is a few stockists on etsy but very expensive postage.

Lol! I had to get it as perfect as possible but really it was so relaxing because its me time away from kids and everyday chores. I love doing home projects because of this. I prefer working on a home improvement project over spa time. It reduces my ocd and anxiety. Lol! Thanks for hanging out with me! Hope you are all feeling well again! 😘✌
@@MightyMama I completely understand what you mean, my husband sometimes say "why instead of going out you rather stay home moving things around, cleaning around the house" cause I wish I have more often that 5 min free of the daily routines and be able to do stuff in calm, quiet time lol

Thank you Jenny! weve been here almost 12 years now and life with kids just really put our home on the backburner. I am done using that as an excuse and Im getting going on improving spaces in my home. I have to looke at it everyday and allllll day so I need to get things done around here so I am truly happy inside my home! i hope my projects help inspire you or motivate you to get whatever projects you may have done as well. Lol! I love using the power tools! Once I got my hands on that brad gun I wanted to put nails into everthing! Lol! It feels so empowering! You coukd do it Mama! Thanks for hanging out with me friend!😘✌

Target still sells it! I love it! I have done more projects around the home with it. I have another video of my front entryway makeover and also have upcoming videos involving the wallpaper.
