Yes, they have such a amazing kit that can work for most situations, 1v1s are an instant win if you have ult, you have the net and sound thing for rushes / flanks / entry and the barrier for team combos, blocking off entryways, and securing sites
it can probably be used in soloq, but its full potential requires a lot of teamwork, which will only happen in pro play. so in other words i think you'll still see this in ranked or whatnot, but the plays will be far more primitive than the full potential of her util you'll see in pro or even just parties.
They might've just adjust it later But always remember that the new agent's role is a SENTINEL which is a agent specialized to stop/slow down push as a site anchor
How I would know when the Ult will be actually effective? I mean. You must see the enemy or if you are hidden, the technology would do something like, showing the location ?
The amount of bullets it takes to break her movement blocking ability is just too much after the bullet count nerf especially in a 1 v 1 scenario. Hope they do something about it

I think no matter how many sentinel agents they create, Cypher will always be better at holding flanks, info gathering, and securing choke points.

I still confused about her ult
The ult has to be inspired by the portal 2's anti gravity beams, it has the same spiral design and slow movement inside it.
I really like the thread theme of her abilities. The vortex device on here arm in her ultimate looks really wild.
This is going to be one of the best agents in the game and useful for "Trapping" enemies.
