I still have yet to put a pair of OME leaf spring on my F250, but if you haven’t seen those springs before, they’re really sturdy! They’ve got shims, greasable anti-friction pads, polyurethane bushings, and they’re military wrapped. Pretty much they’re the last springs I’ll ever need.

ARB have done my lift and the vehicle drives and handles better it is so much smoother on the rear end,top job ARB

ARB are going to lift my 79 series 45 mm next week with of course old man emu gear, another suspension supplier did not make me feel that they were competent in doing the job , I also have another 79 with old man emu shocks and steering damper and they are still going strong
I'm getting the Old Man Emu leaf springs installed on my Nissan Xterra soon. Should be a good ride once installed.

I am getting a pre 1979 land cruiser fj40, I am going to use it for about the same amount off on road as off road and occasionally might pull a small off road trailer and/ or enough gas and supplies for 2-3 days out in the bush. I'm going to run 33" tires and drop a chevy 350 into the mix. what duty suspension would you recommend (the chevy is 200 pounds lighter than the stock inline6

Hi, i have a nissan navara d22, i mainly use it for farming but the road i drive on is pretty smooth. However i like to use it more often to go camping and perhaps ride it along the beaches. I like to be on the safe side where things dont go wrong, do u recommend i should get an OME? and how much does it cost?

Hello ,what are the dimensions of the old man front shock absorbers for land cruiser 70 series 2002 model? I measured about 500mm while the vehicle is stationary,so i need to buy replacement shock absorbers for my bakkie and i have no idea what to buy,i got the bakkie with the lift kit. I am in South Africa
can i get an improvement by changing the shock absorber only while keeping the original spring?

hello,just like to say I had OME springs and shocks on my car after reading how good they were so tracked down a supplier here in the UK, had them fitted worked fine at first after maybe two years ish found I was getting a bit of bounce on the rear after inspection they had failed was not very impressed after doing so much research shortly after the fronts failed so now I still have OME springs but not shocks and cost so much?

Hi Rod, in this instance, the spring will be the most important aspect for your Ranger. Unfortunately, we don't have a product that is adjustable at current.

hey ARB, I've got a 97 Nissan Patrol Gq it has everything original and obviously weary. I want to upgrade to something that's more comfortable and absorbing I prefer a solid feel. I have an oem stainless steel bull bar and an electric winch upfront. also want a 2" lift. pls suggest a kit for me and where to buy from online. thanks Asad

I have a land rover discovery with old man emu sport shocks and the ride is hard as hell. After two years of use (not abuse), one of the rear shocks was broken at the top. I`ll buy another ome sport because I still trust in their quality, but my first impression was very dissapointing.
xxxjanokickxxx Sorry to hear of the issue. OME suspension is covered by a 3 year warranty, so your local distributor will be able to assist you in having this replaced. Failures are very uncommon, so it is disappointing to hear this has been your experience with the suspension.
