Background:
The Clock was manufactured by the Verdin Company in Ohio and shipped to Peoria Arizona in 2016 as part of a restoration of Peoria Town Center. The clock tower carillon strikes on the hour and has Westminster Chimes. Sometimes the carillon plays music on the hour like in this video. Some songs the system plays include holiday music and one day I was there it played “This is my father’s world” written by Maltbie Davenport Babcock.
The clock also has backlit dials to be read at nighttime.
