I keep telling SU fans their band can't touch us,lol.I get into arguments over this issue.JSU will always be the best.I remember the first time I went to see a JSU game in 1990 at the age of 17.My bro roommates showed me so much love and Da Boom went off.Been going every since,lol.
I guess there is always one hater. This is a Battle of the Bands, not a marching band festival or state band competition. And the announcer is announcing. That's why he talks a lot.
@sxety35 ITS CALLED THE HONDA BATTLE OF THE BANDS....BUT ITS REALLY NOT A BATTLE....EVERY BAND IS A WINNER WHEN THEY ATTEND CUZ THEY ALL GET MONEY TO FUND THEY PROGRAM......EACH BAND WAS VOTED THE BEST OF THE YEAR SO THEY GET TO GO AND SHARE THEIR PROGRAM TO THE PUBLIC.....AND I DO DOUBT THEY GET WRECKED BY ANY BAND... BECAUSE JSU IS A PPL CHOICE WEN IT COME TO AN ENTERTAINING SHOW...FROM MUSIC TO THE DANCERS
@sxety35 let me dumb this down cus obviously u didnt catch it....................u cant compare a HBCU to a PWC band two completely different styles of band.....now during concert and symphonic band season maybe you can but not here.
@sxety35 man i was there, unless you were, plz dont give too much of an opinion as far as sound goes, i feel bad for those who hear it on here. No matter what camera records it, it will never have live performance feel and effect.

I'm kinda shocked to see such a big hater not hating on the other 2011 clips or the 2012 clips of the BOOM. Why are you even viewing these clips in the first place?
watch?v=qQUlvfqCZa0 JMU has a million people in the band, and still not impressed with their sound. You could give JSU, BCU, TnSU, or FAMU these same pieces and they would sound exactly the same. I'm more impressed with what FAMU can do with 400+ than JMU. At least they add some of the theatrical elements and props in their show you might expect in say a DCI performance. You're on here acting like they sound like a concert band or symphony. Almost anyone could create that sound on those songs.
