Been a lifelong Redskins fan for nearly 34 years and while you'll never find me rooting for any Philadelphia Eagles, the Bald Eagle, especially Challenger has a special place in my heart and also has my complete admiration, respect, love and support for all time!

I don't think we wouldn't have gotten the same response if our fore fathers had agreed to Ben franklins suggestion for our national bird. Turkeys aren't very good at long flights.
Part of the beauty of Challenger is that he was rescued. It is a federal law that a bald eagle that can not be successfully rehabbed and returned to the wild must be euthanized. UNLESS he can become a Wildlife Ambassador. Those that took him from an imprinted eagle - (doomed by the well meaning people that rescued him and then hand reared them)- and turned him into a Wildlife Ambassador, did so by committing their own lives to his care, until death do them part. (it is usually one person that does this, and he is a Master Falconer of the top level before he is even allowed to train and bond with an eagle). Challenger lives, he flies, he brings us joy and opens our eyes to the eagles because of what his person/ people did and continue doing. Thank you for that.

Got to see Challenger fly last night on tv during game 3 of the world series. I was hopping he would fly during it and was not disappointed. Told the people at the table next to me about him and your organization. (we were at our favorite mexican restaurant).
Just as good as blue angels fly over. All lives matter, especially whites, black, blue red and yellow. Love the National anthem: it just demonstrates how people love their home country. It’s not perfect but I think it’s the best there is considering the options.

I love how Americans will start singing the national anthem with no prompting. The eagle flying through is amazing. The spirit of our country.
The PA guy should always "invite you to sing along" anytime our NA is being played.

What is cool is how he actually flew to her arm. He could of gone and landed anywhere, even landing them on the field is easier....BUT WOW!!!
