Flag raised to mark Armed Forces Week 2024

Our Trust's Chief Executive Ken Bremner MBE led the ceremony.
It was held outside the main entrance to Sunderland Royal Hospital.
This has been the first year we have hosted the event. It was in recognition of the part our Armed Forces veterans and reservists play in our organisation.
