@timsaint835 it's lawful to photograph and film private property as the air space is controlled by the CAA not the business owners we are all being watched weather we're in a shopping center or walking down the street as soon as we walk out of our homes we do not have privacy weather we like it or not yes some drone operators push buttons to get content for there channels but their not all like that.
And as for flying over you house again not law breaking as long as the operator isn't hovering and filming into the home.

He's taken the photo before calling the police. He's now calling the cops the drone has pushed their patience to the limit. With the photo if you disappear before the cops arrive he has a way to show them how you are to help them more easily identify you if you leave the area. Also probably for their security team to say never let this guy inside the building and watch out for him in future. Being an IT tech company that no doubt uses or provides facial recognition tech he may even be doing a facial recognition reverse-image search to see what he can find online. It's amazing now how you can do that even on Google and often get loads of matches. I did it with someone wanted by Met Police and found out her name, university, employer, all in about 5 minutes from one image search face pattern match. The Met Police had been appealing for info on her for over a week after she violently assaulted someone at a pro-Palestine protest.
Its amazing how SIA licensed security actually believe they own the airspace above the perimeter, what do they actually teach on those SIA courses? How to make it up as you go along.

How does he think he's going to stop a drone from flying over? Call in an air strike? Release the trained eagle? Shotgun? Big net with a very long stick? Telekinesis?
If he's claiming trespass then he needs to research what he can do. Which is - use reasonable force to remove the trespasser (highly unlikely) or sue in civil court (highly unlikely to be successful).
