I do think she loved him but she took him for granted. She got cocky and thought she could treat him however she wanted and he'd stick around no matter what. He eventually got sick of her behaviour and walked out. She only realised what she had when it was GONE, that's why she hasn't stopped banging on about him since. @Kelly Day ..I honestly think she did it to "get back" at Pete. If you watch the episodes with Alex carefully, you'll notice that she makes a lot of indirect, bitchy digs towards Pete. She was hurting and wanted to hurt Pete the way he hurt her. By marrying someone else so quickly, she was only ultimately hurting herself because she gave herself no time to heal emotionally and you could tell that deep down she was comparing every man to Pete, but none have measured up. Pete took his time to get to know his wife and dated her a few years before marrying her. That is why it has lasted. Katie always rushes things and doesn't take the time to get to know the men, that's why things always go tits up so quickly. I can see things going bad with her new fella aswell.

It was a cry for his attention....and same here, I wrote a comment on the video of her introducing Carl and I had a couple of haters too. I basically said that she was doing a lot of gushing about him, while he doesn't look bothered. The new guy is def trying to use Katie to get famous, but it is not going to work. He has even tried reality shows in the past and didn't get far. He has no personality whatsoever and he is dodgy as hell. His eyes look very cold. I am also convinced that he is not attracted to her whatsoever. His body language is off for someone in a new relationship. Whenever she leans into him, he behaves indifferently. Not a good sign.
