- Welcome back to the UTOPIA Minecraft Survival Island series! It is episode 3 and in this video we start to make some moves towards upgrading our gear, in other words, we're entering a new era! We accomplish this by building a large cargo ship which can take us to distant lands!

I vote for being able to keep your items. If you were afk at a farm, you're still technically playing the game by getting resources, so that I would say you lose your stuff. But your intent was to be paused, so I think it's fair to keep your items.
Also a way to make the game more difficult, maybe you need a dock to be able go anywhere twice with a boat. First time is discovery, second time is oh! I need to set up a proper place for this boat to sit. This would also let you expand infrastructure to other islands much later in the series.
Yeah that was my thought process when I died the first time. And about your dock idea, I think that’s genius! Just wait until next episode… I might need a large dock
The treasure maps generated blank because they didnt manage to find any buried chests nearby, at least thats how i think they work; buried chests generate all around the world, and then when you open a sunken ship chest it starts to generate loot inside it, and when theres a map it takes a while to load because the loot only generates when you open the chest, and that map begins searching for buried chest blocks in a certain radius around itself, and when theres none it becomes blank
