RARE "Little Donkey" - Florrible and Misrabella

- This song is called "Little Donkey". It's a rework of Florence's song known as "Donkey Kosh", which was never officially released.
When it was made, Florence Welch and Isabella Summers released it with their group name as "Florrible and Misrabella" (aka Florence and the Machine and Laydee Isa).
Give it a couple listens. Sure, it's a bit different, but it's just as brilliant as anything else Florence and Isa have made together.

I don't understand why Florence and Isabella don't release all of these excellent early songs of theirs. They could make an entire album from them. I especially like that they are less polished and embellished than studio releases. They are better than anything out there now, except for anything by FATM, of course.

I agree, especially now I am about to turn 25 in less than a month! I listened to her throughout much of my high school + college experience and still do. Her music continues to mean so much

I love how when I first started out listening to Flo, I thought that all the songs on her "Lungs" CD were the best -- never did I think that through rareflorence would I find all her eerily beautiful songs that just aren't appreciated enough. Hello Florribe and Misrabella; another brilliant creation that involves Florence Welch.

I wonder what this song is about... it reminds me of my childhood, especially evenings, and my dreams - in both cases, when I look back, I find the feeling of chasing--or being chased by--something unknown, unstopable and/or impossible to catch. It's kind od creepy... this song is creepy in general! I don't know, but it kinda brings the dark places of my sou I'm both terrified of and passionate about; I want to get there sometime...
