Synopsis:
Still reeling from the loss of her mother, medical student Nancy Adams (Blake Lively) travels to a secluded beach for some much-needed solace. Despite the danger of surfing alone, Nancy decides to soak up the sun and hit the waves. Suddenly, a great white shark attacks, forcing her to swim to a giant rock for safety. Left injured and stranded 200 yards from shore, the frightened young woman must fight for her life as the deadly predator circles her in its feeding ground.

It's so weird, that this video actually gives me hope. I'm obviously not in a dangerous situation like that but when I see how she's fighting for her life despite all the odds, it makes me want to fight for my life as well and overcome my depression and anxiety. The combination out of the movie and the song is really inspiring. 💜

Holy SHIT. I have NEVER, in my LIFE, been more consumed and just completely absorbed into a music video like I was watching that.. Blake did SO phenomenal with all her expressions of fear and determination.. that was epic. Intense. My heart was literally racing and I found myself gasping. I’m sure the music really helped egg it on but nonetheless.. dude. Other than that - I am speechless. That rocked my world lol.

Great song and the video is from a movie called the shallows which was a very good movie
The theme of this song correlates with the video's plot. I couldn't breathe the entire time thinking at some point, with how she maneuvered the shark the whole time she was going to give up or just eventually escape the situation and get to shore safe but she did neither and not only does it never cease to amaze me the many times I watch it but it also inspires me to rather than give up, play it safe or worse, flee from my fears, I face them and fight till I've won.
Peace and grace under and situation as long as you believe. You can do it.

I didn’t watch the movie but this so was so beautiful. Blake lively is beyond heavenly. This was an incredible difficult role to pull off as it relied heavily on her performance. But wow what a woman and what beautiful cinematography as well as excellent music. Bravo

It always inspires me every time when I watch the movie. It teaches me never to give up and fight till the happy end. Also, I like spending time alone. It makes me happy. So I see many things in common with the main character. Thank Jesus Christ for such amazing stories that inspire us to move on, to go to any dream that will come true if you just believe and never give up.
By the way, Jesus Christ loves you a lot and wants you to be happy. Just trust Him, He has the best plan for your life. Ask and He will make all your prayers come true.

it’s crazy to think how we live in such a small world. such a small planet, yet we can have such beautiful yet terrifying creatures. not just referring to sea life, but to other things too. humanity too. and u can’t escape it. u have to be on guard 24/7. u can never feel too safe, no matter if it’s walking down a dark alley at 3 am. or taking 1 step into what looks like such a beautiful place, the ocean. or into a forest, where there are bears, wolves, and other animals. and it’s obvious the shark didn’t do anything wrong. it just needed to survive. thinking that she was a seal or whatever else they eat. it just wanted to eat.
