There is only one Peter Sagan. Peter the Great! ❤ Thank you for the memories champ!
Peter going head-to-head against Fabian Cancellara was the pinnacle of road cycling entertainment. It does not feel the same for me with today's top talent. Peter has always been a modest self-effacing guy which, for many, make him an exceedingly likeable competitor. Hope he achieves success in all his future endeavors.
Big character, entertaining all the way to the end, great dude.
Peter on t’aime
merci pour tout ❤️
Sagan has produced so many magic moments in cycling.....good luck in the future
Peťo ďakujeme za všetko❤🇸🇰
One of the few reasons for me to watch professional cycling the last 10 years. Thanks, Peter!
Looking forward to you getting back into mountain biking!
he came as a star, he left as a legend
Cycling, like all sports, is a part of life. Not life. When you have the wisdom to see it in such a way, it liberates you from the tremendous stresses of what's probably one of the cruelest but most entertaining sports in the world. And we love it.
Such an accurate statement
Peter Sagan adalah seorang atlet balap sepeda yang berjiwa besar
Thank you for bringing the excitement to this sport Peter.
Náš zlatý Sagan 👍🇸🇰❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥂💐👏👏👏 Ďakujeme Majster 🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴🚴
Brutal honesty. He’s obviously tired. And I’m sure he is talking about more than just pedaling a bike. The industry of bike racing is brutal. And I’m sure that by the end it’s a job and he is ready to go “part time”.
Peter Sagan es uno de los mejores de su generación quisiéramos que sea eterno pero el tiempo es malévolo. Te extrañemos Peter en el próximo Tour….
He brought so many people to the sport myself included! He will be missed and the things he did making it cool is bigger than any of his wins in my view
Obviously he is done with road cycling mentally and seems totally ok with that..He was the one that made so many people love this sport including myself...Good luck great man through your life...
So fun to watch and root for. Hopefully he can cap his career with gold in the Olympics.
Good for him !! He left a big mark healthy to move on.
Ciao Sagan!!
Peter Sagan , The Monster
He is so done with this sport. :D
Great 👍🥺🥺
i bought my first road bike because of watching peter sagan doing great stuff on a road bike
I was surprised that he could step away from the grand tours so unbegrudgingly but as we know , the big tours were not his strong point as he was not a climber. He was, however, a great classics rider (and winner) and his 3 consecutive World Championship victories cement his legacy as one of the greatest cyclists in history.
🙌🙌🙌
My favorite all around cyclist
Peter sure as kaka wrote a nice chapter in the book of cycling history.
He’s dropping hints on what’s going on behind closed doors…
Cycling was losing its sheen after armstrong doping scandal. No one liked cycling after that. Every one thought all cyclists are cheaters. It was a character of sagan, the flamboyance of sagan which rescued cycling on a global level.
It seems that somewhere along the line something let the air out of the tires of his enthusiasm for the sport and that's unfortunate. And even in the spotlight at the end in Paris, he is still bemoaning the sport in which he earned wealth and worldwide fame in one decade alone. And that's disappointing to see. He wanted that final big-money contract with his entourage by his side, he could at least say, wow, what a ride for me and my buds these past two years, big money and not much work and still lots of love from the fans. I hope his outlook turns around for him as he participates in future cycling endeavors. And surely his sponsors and fans would appreciate that, too. Right now, he doesn't make riding a Specialized bicycle look like much fun and that's not the way he used to be with his wheelies and smiles and victories.
I believe we all know what drained the joy, don’t we?
@@tonyg3091 I actually don't know, I'm a fan who follows the action and results of the races and knows little about their lives outside the sport. But Cav getting Peter kicked out of the Tour years ago was a major bummer, as was Peter sort of giving up when other riders were on his wheel in big races. And not that it ultimately matters either way, just that his being a downer about it is kind of a bummer when we watch for inspiration and entertainment and good times.
👑👈🙏🙏🙏🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷🥰🥰🥰🥰
Instead of "The Show Must Go On!", the title of this vid should have been "I am done".
What is he doing now? Retiring?
I really wish I knew the inside story. Is he just burned out or is it more.
He seems depressed.
I paid no attention to the interview and stared at those bodacious ta-ta's on the left!😜😜😜😜😜😜
Who is she? Sounds like she's from Ireland.
Very weak attitude and responses. You have fans all over the world who follow your endeavors and celebrate your achievements in the sport, show some enthusiasm and pride, Peter. The salty attitude is frustrating.
He doesn't owe you anything just because you liked seeing him win back in the day.
@@MattGrovesFTW exactly.
He did his bit… now go do yours.
He doesn’t owe anyone a damn thing..
Fans. Like the ones who step out into the course to take selfies while risking riders lives…? Nope. He’s just being honest. He is tired. And I’m sure that includes being tired of knobs who think that being a fan grants automatic entitlement to parts of his life that are non of you business.
@@roycarter2797 yea I agree, not the fans who cause crashes, but perhaps a fan like me… one who’s attended two GT’s and never caused a crash, one who’s seen Sagan at races in Europe in America. I’m not asking for access to private life. Simply a little more enthusiasm for his own achievements and his loyal following. That’s all.
meh. Sagan is the new Jan Ullrich….. wait for it
Hopefully not 😢.. would be sad to see it.
