In medical colleges senior are respected so they are equivalent to teachers ,as he is in his last year and AIR 27(means intelligent) so he got more respect in the college , he can go to any other big college due to his rank but he chooses this because here he can do all this stuff , he was suspended for months so he utilise that time to teach preeti , as in last topic (upper thorax) he was not so good, so it's better that she attend the class.

Having said that that is all i like about this move .... Hero is just an asshole and toxic. It is sad that Indian cinema glorifies these kind of characters.
First time I realized how two cultures see this movie differently. No doubt this movie was evoking polarizing reactions. Some people hated it so much and some defended it. The maid chase seen was funny to most Indians. But Alissa and Shawn did not like it at all. I guess Indian humour is different. And also, I think Indian society is male dominated and it is expected of women to fall in line. That’s why many liked this movie.
I'm ok with Kabir being her boyfriend but the way they ended up with each other - junior-senior power dynamic, his aggressiveness and the whole Holi incident, it just doesn't seem right.
This movie is the definition of a toxic relationship. As an Indian, despite finding half our movies problematic (mostly cause of how dominant the man always is), this movie took it to the next level. And it gave the audience something out of the ordinary in quite a 'romantic' way as some put it. I initially didn't understand the hype around the movie until I finished watching it and realized that it was engaging af and not once did I want to pause it. That doesn't mean that I like it, but I must admit everything was so intriguing. Just gotta keep my fingers crossed that no one is influenced by this madness though.
lol it wasn't that. It was a movie about a really flawed guy. But people like him do exist. So representing them isnt a issue. Even most guys in India agree this was way too much but that doesnt mean u can tell a unique story
