In this second part of the studio renovations we cover an approximate 30 day period of work which involves painting the floors and also getting art into the space.
It's all a bit much though and I do genuinely believe I have overcommitted and under planned the sheer volume of work that needs to be done before we can get operational again. It's a big worry as I cannot do much right now until certain things are done.
Do let us know what you think of the progress in the comments... watch out for Part Three of the ongoing saga. If you missed Part One then check this out: • We're FINALLY in the N...
ARE YOU NEW TO THE CHANNEL? Excellent! A big welcome to you. We are LIVE from the studio every Wednesday so why not come and take a look on the next stream? The current link is always available here and we'd love to see you on the next one: swarezart.com/live-streaming/

you sure do work hard. In my opinion your new gallery looks more Grand than your old one and im positive the different buildings/spaces for different uses will work out to your advantage too!
I do hope so. Tricky to see right now but every day we make some progress. Still so much to be done though
I'm sure all us artists are extremely envious of your glorious new space, I know I am. Will all be sorted soon and then you can have a little holiday and celebrate.
Oh now wouldn’t that be nice 👌
Hang in there. It's looking better and better! I'm moving my home and studio 200 miles away, packing boxes daily. The feeling of "will it ever end" is real.
I feel your pain.
Like bringing a ship into port ‘ steady as she goes’ and you will get there, take a big breath, keep the vision take a break and go out for dinner . Don’t cram all you have to do in one box. You’re doing great and you will be up and running in no time at all. This gallery looks better than your other one, great space and hopefully warmer for you all as well.
Thank you, that’s very kind of you
A Big Hello from the Netherlands guys, first I would like to tell you that I greatly admire your perseverance, what a job, you look very tired Ed and yet you continue to pursue your dreams, RESPECT RESPECT RESPECT, but when you see how beautiful it is it's going to happen, you're not doing it for nothing, GO FOR IT, you can do this guys !!
Thanks for that Tom, much appreciated
Keep plugging away at it, it'll be worth it in the end & think of all the paintings that will come out of all that emotional upheaval! 😉 x
I really hope so Lyn…
Ohmygoodness! I love what you guys have done to the place. Look back at the first video and see just how much you've accomplished then ask yourself again if this is the biggest mistake ever.Don't ever doubt yourself. You guys have got this 💪👊 Believe in yourself 😊
Thank you! Will do!
I feel ya! I have four days off after weeks of 8 on, 1 off, with my car getting yet another transmission in 4 months (Thank God for warranties!). My desire has more energy than my body to get the photos chosen for holiday sales.
My 9-5 cut my hours before I could save. I look around my home office and acres knowing what I want to do, knowing I’ll be successful, but feeling so overwhelmed. You are blessed to have your friends and beautiful partner. ❤ Milo is the construction and landscaping foreman.
The gallery is looking great!
That’s really kind of you to say so Nancy. Thank you. I wish you well - overwhelming feeling can be very powerful but also difficult to overcome. Start with one thing and keep it going. One becomes two and so on. It’s the only way I cope. Thanks for your kindness.
The studio is coming along nicely, true a huge amount of work but it’ll be worth it.
I hope so buddy! I really do
You're both so fun, and it's a joy to watch your videos, thank you for inspiring fellow artists with your vision, energy, and excitement for life!
Thank you so much!
Wow!! 🙌 You guys are making it happen, the Swarez Way, too. I’m so impressed with the progress of your amazing new studio. Watch, this is going to be 🅰️💯‼️class. Thank you for the exciting update. Before long, you’ll be sailing away with your new creations…can’t wait! Be sure to give yourselves a rest day here and there. 🤸♀️🤹♀️🤸♀️🎨🤸♀️🎬🎯
Thanks so much!! Rest will happen soon I hope but we’ll look after ourselves for sure
Your studio is really taking shape…keep up the hard work, will pay off in the end.All the best to you all.👍🏼
Thanks so much!
it all looks very nice. your doing a great job. don't get stressed, you can't create that way. if you need to take a break do it. otherwise you won't have any fun. looking very good so far.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for the update Ed. I'm in awe of your efforts! I think the pod idea is a beautiful use of the display space. I can't wait to see it all come together - though not as much as you I bet!
Thanks so much!
You will be fine. Just keep focusing on how you want the end result to look, and it should motivate you, and look at how much you have achieved already. You've got this. 😊
Thanks for the tips!
Wow! A lot of of work! But your energy, even when you are overwhelmed, is still contagious 😮! Well done 👍. No way back, only forward, one step at a time 🙏😍. Love the results already
Thanks so much! 😊
Hi, Ed! You are a great artist and even better person! Surely you will get it, you just have to trust your self of the future. You've always found your way for years, so you just have to trust you and your intuition! A hug!💪🏻🫶😘
Very wise words and well taken. Thank you 🙏
Die Galerie wird super 🙏
Danke Teddy
I love your studio and the UK. Thank you for being honest about how you feel.
Thank you so much!
@@SwarezArt My pleasure :)
Merci pour la traduction en français ; je continuerai à vous suivre, car j'aime beaucoup vos peintures. Il faut être fou dans la vie, ça laisse de bons souvenirs. Vous avez trouvé un très bel endroit pour continuer votre travail. Good luck !
Thank you very much Annie
I wish you the best of luck. Even though you feel overwhelmed you don't really have a choice to keep at it. Remember perfection is the enemy of getting things done. Anyway it looks like things are going well and I really hope you don't have to move again soon.
Thank you Jake. Much appreciated
This looks absolutely incredible!! You can do it you know you can👍
Thank you so much!!
Looks incredible already!!!!
At the end it will be definitely worth it!!!🎉🎉🎉
Hope so… and thank you 😊
Looking like a gallery now. Well done all.

So proud of you and all the efforts of your crew. Standing in it may feel like H3ll but looking from the outside in, the progress is Awesome and its looking more and more like Eden. It'll feel more like home soon. (Great Applause!)
Thank you so much!
It’s looking great, really coming on. Good luck. It will be worth it in the end.
I really hope so even if it feels so far away right now
Magnifique expérience de vie, bravo belles âmes... cœur ❤️ 🫶
Thank you
Well done. Very creative way of using space. Keep on.
Thank you! 😊
It will all be good in the end, and if it isn't good, then it ain't the end, and yeh, I was working too all day Saturday, selling my work at the Kop Hill Climb, as artists we have to work when others don't, but you know that already.
Indeed I do! Thanks for the kind words buddy
Looking good so far! 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Well done Ed and team, we're all behind you, looking forward to seeing the end results
Me too! Thank you
I'm starting to paint much larger canvases and I'm thinking on the same level as you guys. Luckily I have a past history in building and tools to go with. The art world is still changing at a fair pace and I think you guys are spot on!
Thanks buddy
This is sure exciting and I know it is a lot of work but it will all be worth it !!! Best Wishes !!!
Thanks Lynda
My god just like the flick production …..coming along…..cheers
Hola mi estimado artista, en casa les digo que soy tu gran admiradora de tus pinturas, amo el arte abstracto, he pintado algo, pero nada se parece a tus grandes pinturas, eres único, soy de México Vicky Mora
You are very kind Vicky, thank you 😊
It's coming together and it will be the way you want it to be. You're miles ahead because you're not just starting out. You know what works and how it will work for you. It just a p-i-a right now because you're both physically exhausted. And you really do need to take even one day off from it and do something different--like sleep all day--speaking from experience. And then begin again more energized. Do not push to the point of really getting sick. Guys take care. It's really looking good!! Take care!!
Thank you so much. Wise words indeed!
Keep climbing.. the top is nearer than it looks.
Hope so! Thanks Sandy
I know you will get it right Ed. And it will be amazing! Best of luck. Looking forward to seeing the end results. 😊
Fingers crossed! Thanks buddy
Looks great so far. ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊
Wow that was Phenomenal 😊 I can see why you had that face🤨, the Gallery is coming along smashingly❤. Like the system you came up with to utilize the space and to display more of your art 🎨. I can see your all exhausted its a huge job. Thank God you have some people to help get those tasks done. I look forward to seeing more of your work and hopefully a live painting. God bless the work of your hands.
Thank you so much 😁

Te está quedando muy bonita tu nueva galería, en hora buena y que vendas mucho, yo te sigo a través de mi celular soy de México Vicky Mora
Thank you Vicky
Hey Guys first of all no I dont think you guys made a mistake up and up hey and actually yes I am going through the same with regards to we just bought a property and I am in the process of making a space my art studio. Though not as difficult as yours.. You both have inspired me to "Just Do it" The studio is coming along quite smashingly the space you have made it great so far and I really like it. you both are really great and I am so pleased that you have pushed on.. when its all completed though both of you deserve to sit down and comb your toes for a bit. cant wait to see the finished product but at the same time don't wear yourselves out.
Wondering how you will manage comfortable temperatures in that building? Looks great light and airy and good flow space. Who still thinks we artists are impractical? Ha ha
Well we’ll just have to see what the seasons bring and whether it’s better or worse that what we’ve had before.
I was thinking the same. But the temp doesn't need to be perfect. Just enough that the art does not get damaged at all. Keeping moisture content regulated seems the most important. As far as clients viewing art, I think a bit cool will not bother them in the least. In fact, the cooler temp would tend to feel like more space. Warmer temp in this close viewing environment would likely be a no go. Large fans gently moving air might be helpful in the hotter season, while keeping energy cost down.
I'm always so excited to see a new video!! Looks like so much work to be done, but I'm sure it will pay off!
I hope so too!
awesome to see this! Love your art!!
Thank you so much 😀
Great job!!
Thank you!
Hope it all has worked out for you.
If I had a space like that, was my dream, ia amazing! Because you paint in bigger canvas you has problems with space. Try to paint after a good sale, a little bit smaller canvas, maybe can help. I paint in a small Estudio. Is not the size of the paintings what is important, but what and quality of Artwork, that really matters.
I enjoy big paintings and it’s where I’m happiest. I don’t want to compromise that if I can help it. But thank you for the suggestion
If you flew me out there I could have you back on schedule in about 2 weeks, I am an abstract art teacher I produce a lot of work in a short amount of time. Good luck
Great! I hope you are handy with a saw and screwdriver then because art creation isn't the problem - it's getting everything packed, moved and set up the other end that's the issue. I need the booth to be ready before I can paint again. That takes time and patience and effort.
Oh! That's it?!!!
I thought you were referring to being angry because "life happens" as something like losing both parents and their beloved dog in an accident, then being in court 3 years to save your grandson from abuse before being able to grieve, then finding out that your daughter has also been abused by this same person, then supporting the daughter and grandson as they and yourself get therapy in order to heal.
But your new studio is beautiful and shelves can be rebuilt.
🥰🥰
Oh, boy….this is too much……hang in there
will do!
Sorry to see you leaving Stroud mate. Where's your new studio?
It’s in Badsey, Evesham.
Thanks@@SwarezArt not too far to go then. Glad you've found a new place. You just need to travel in the opposite direction 🙂
for what you do, why don't you own you own property?
I don’t have the funds for it. Plain and simple
