- It is a great pleasure to have Yvette with us together in this video to have a look on the Macaroon series backpacks in 5 different sizes.
Doughnut Macaroon Series ranges from a large sized bag made with CORDURA® Fabric that can fit a 15-inch laptop to a Petite size that is actually smaller than your palm. They are all made with water resistant material, and there are tons of compartments to help you to keep your things organized.

Doughnut has the cutest colours, the pale blue is so pretty. I wonder if such a light pastel colour will get dirty easily from everyday use though.

I love my regular doughnut macaroon in rose. I had this for more than 2 years now and it's very durable. I wish to buy the large for travelling as a carry-on bag since the pandemic is almost over hehe. I also wanted the mini ones for daily use

This video made me choose the classic size over the mini size to replace my current backpack ‘handbag’ once it inevitably breaks. Although I could get away with using the mini size 80% or the time, I find it’s better to have the extra space when I do need to use it

I have a question about this bag, is there any padding at the bottom of the backpack to maybe protect the laptop from impact? And when carrying heavy loads, does the shoulder pad help a little or does the strap dig the shoulder a bit?

@@hamsanwich8754 Ahh okay, they do have abit of padding at the bottom of the bag. but the laptop compartment is padded as well. The padded shoulder straps does help a little when you are carry heavy loads.
i don’t know if i should get the normal size or the large size… i have a bunch of things i’m putting in the bag but i don’t want it to be too bulky, plus i don’t want it to look weird on me. should i take the risk and get the normal size or do i just spring for the larger size?
Hmmm... I think it depends on the size and thickness of the things that you are putting in.

Hey Louise, the inner iPad padded compartment able to fit in a 10 inch iPad. So, it is definitely not for 12inch MacBook. However you can squeeze them into the main compartment, but i don't have the exact MacBook you own, so I am not so sure as well, i can give you this info, it's is 28cm x 22cm inside, and 13 inch if measure diagonally. However, my concerns are,
1 it depends on how thick is your laptop, and you might not be able to zip it properly or need to force it, and in long term, might ruined the zip.
2 Without sliding the laptop into the inner compartment, it offers very least amount of protection and put your laptop at risk.
Your call though, hope these infos help.

It's hard to give you an unbiased opinion because we are just too in love with the Dougnut Macaroons, but still, go ahead and check out and see which one fits you well, hope that helps!

Hi Zihan, sorry for the late reply! Depends on how thick your binders and notebooks are. But classic one can fit lots of stuffs.

Yvette's bag is the Doughnut Macaroon Classic - Blue Lotus. While the mini size bag only has a compartment to fit an iPad and it's 30 centimeters in height, so it might not fit an A4 notebook well.

Nope, it is a regular zipper but it is covered with water-repellent fabric

Hello Danoc, it depends on how thick and the size of your books though. But Macaroon Classic is quite spacious.

I guess it depends on the thickness as well, they advertise as 'fit in a 15inch mac book' but in fact 15inch Mac book's dimension is around 15.4 inches. So it depends, however, if cant fit in to the laptop compartment, you can just put them in straightaway, some of our customers even put a 16-inch laptop in it.
