Hi! Wow they are so gorgeous! And so clean looking...can I ask do you have any tips for preventing soda ash...every time I try to make something pretty it gets covered in soda ash, sometimes right through! Feel like I've tried everything...so disheartening : ( love your vids :) thanks Amanda

About how much is your batch total and also do you use a lye discount when you make your cupcakes and your soaps??? I made cupcakes and the frosting just crumbled. Seems to me I was lye heavy.
Lisa Bowers Thank you for the kind words Lisa! I make all different batch depending on what mold I'm using. I do soap with a water discount unless I need a more fluid batter. It does sound like your soap was lye heavy...that makes it crumbly :)

Beautiful! How long does it take for your piping soap to set and be able to pipe without being to runny? I think I may be soaping to hot cause I can never get that part right. Do you cool your lye water before soaping? Thanks
Lily Logan Thanks Lily. My lye and oils are room temp (72 degrees). The amount of time before I can pipe varies depending on how the fragrance oil behaves. Sometimes, I can pipe right after pouring and sometimes I have to wait. Sorry I dont have a clear cut answer.
