Itachi is a great brother and the rare type of uchiha who does not let the curse of hatred distract them from doing whats right
I'm sure there were others besides Itachi, Shisui, and Izumi that don't have the curse of hatred. Itachi should of spared the ones that do not have the curse and even innocent children and pregnant women that were related to the ones that was in support of the rebellion. In this what of scenario, Zetsu shouldn't of told Obito that Itachi died in front of the Sasuke retrieval team so that Danzo and the two advisors will still believe that Itachi is still alive and Danzo won't harm the ones that were not in support of the rebellion.
Ye I know, that is why there is “the rare type” cuz I am highly aware there are good uchiha
I don't like Kishimoto's idea of Sasuke being the sole survivor of the Uchiha Clan and the Sharingan being on the brink of extinction.

That’s what I get for watching this specific video, a choked up throat and tears in my eyes (the piano didn’t help a whole lot either lol). Itachi Uchiha, my favorite Naruto character & Ninja for a good 8+ years. He had to in order to be the ultimate silent hero... he has to make the ultimate sacrifice for the greater good. In the end great video, I’m happy in the end Naruto eased his heart after their final fight before making the bond of friendship/brotherhood permanent.

It was like at first, the scene was black and white, then everything went out white for a few short seconds until Itachi appears with his last words in full color in white background killed me so much as it hits different than the anime version...

If my brother was to kill my clan in the sake of stopping a war because of a selfish mans ambitions then I too would feel anger toward the village. Sasuke feels like the only way to honor his brother and freeing them of the hate is to destroy the village. Of course, Sasuke realizes this to be untrue but the shock and anger in that one moment is too great for anyone to feel compassion or hope
Cosmos_ Null So if someone sacrificed themselves to save your life, someone who you held dearly died due to the influence of an external medium, a society in fact, you'd just basically disregard it as nothing worth getting revenge over? It's not about just Itachi, it's about him as well. He knows that Itachi was loyal to the village, to the point where his actions only did nothing but benefit them. Just look at what Sasuke's experience with him after the massacare. Sasuke doesn't understand WHY Itachi wouldn't get revenge for what the village did to HIM and their CLAN. Sasuke was a literal by product of repeated cycle of hatred and lies. And even then, Itachi himself admitted to attempting to FORCE Sasuke to be the hero, not acknowledging the fact that he essentially set Sasuke up to become the man he is. Sasuke made the choice to destroy everything Itachi risked his life for because of their pain and suffering, the clans extermination, the village deserved to be destroyed after what they did. Simple as that
