- Embark on our last journey for the year, called "Akitu" a composition that takes us back for one more New Years adventure to the past. We've used the oud, zither, saz, duduk, santoor, tanbur, and guitar. The Akitu festival is an ancient Mesopotamian celebration, historically observed by the Babylonians and Assyrians, marking the New Year and the renewal of life. ✨🌱

Akitu is a actually a Mesopotamian ceremony for renewal of kingship! Fun fact: there weren’t pyramids in Mesopotamia, but there were ziggurats (sort of like the one in front of the pyramid but less stylized).
How do you want to know that there weren't pyramides? The world was created most by the devil. Nobody knows how it REALLY looked like. The Evil has been the best bluffer ever.

In Japan, ``akitu'' is the old name for dragonfly.
So when I listened to it thinking it was Japanese music, it turned out to be much nicer than I expected.

You truly outdid yourself with this one! ... where are you folks from?! What's the arrangement done with? a real string section or a really really pricey synthesizer?! LOL after listening to a few of these pieces I can clearly see a footprint that resembles a particular sequential composition --> Smooth start, fairly similar cadences yet different harmonic progressions. Still can't make up my mind whether these are human generated or done by an AI algorithm.... any ideas?!

They joined hands and started walking towards the massive temple walls. The two had a past they could only run from for so long. So now they only have one more chance to set their time catcher back on track. They had nothing else to lose...
