When I was a teenager I started electronics and stumbled upon her site (before the industry) found awesome things. Wanted to build. None of them worked, didn't knew anything about microcontrollers back then, but still haven't given up on this hobby. Until this day I create things and more and more complicated ones. Thank you for being an inspiration and providing ability to understand new things for me and for all of us.

The electronics industry has been starving for someone like this. In Australia we had Dick Smith who in the 70's and 80's did the same and it was the go to for electronics education, kits etc. Sadly Dick Smith was bought by a larger company and destroyed. Adafruit now the no 1 place to send people who want to learn or need a decent functional module etc. Awesome work.
Also great to see women not only getting into electronics but pioneering it too.

Electronics to most people is like magic. They don't understand it, they're mystified, and they ultimately think it's too difficult to understand. You're educating. You're spurring creativity and invention. You're business is great, but the true value of your business, is your education and the spread of knowledge. You're training a whole new world of young engineers that will use your products! You're also fostering invention within your country and beyond. Congrats.

I bought a Pi Zero from Adafruit a while back, and I loved it so much I had to buy another! Right now I'm in the planning phase of creating a USB mod for the New 3DS, that'll allow me to plug my 3DS into my PC and access the internal SD storage without removing the back plate. I plan to use 100% Adafruit parts for the mod, and I'm glad you have some of the weird/obscure products you do, otherwise I'd be entirely out of luck!

Thanks Lady Ada. We love what your doing. I've been tinkering around with electronics and programming since the 80's when my dad introduced me to a radioshack project book. Now we have a resource we can use to make more complicated projects. I'm so excited to get started on the next one. :-) keep up the good work P.S. I have an ideal for a perpetual motion machine (near perceptual motion) do you know anyone or forums for discussing such things Id like to get some feed back before I attempt to build it.

very good, way to go. I'm impressed by what you've done and am taking on learning electronics finally, as I've always been curious. Now,in the spirit of positive criticism, may I suggest the importance of good sound when making videos. Good sound makes bad video footage better, hire a good sound guy. I know, I know, you think you can do it yourself, it's a simple concept that most feel is below them, but this video says you don't take yourself seriously, ensure you get good sound on your videos.

+Artsy Lowtekk in this industry ""recipe"" is priceless.. in all meaning..
imagine, just because you know how to make example an led chip, it doesn't mean you can make affordable, whats more you just simply can not start to produce due to the jungle of copyrights..
however you can make on your backyard for your pleasure..
this company wont break giving away schematics or drawings... indeed it pulls more customer..

Adafruit may give away the recipe, they want to sell you the ingredients. Home Depot and Lowes do the same thing with their workshops and project ideas on their website. (this is what is known as capitalism)
