CULTURE CLUB Live ''Rock & Roll Tonight''

Culture Club's first LIVE American performance. Prior to this, they had only appeared in interview, music video, or lip-synch. These live tracks (Time, Do You Really Want To Hurt Me, and I'll Tumble 4 Ya!) were broadcast on NBC's "Rock & Roll Tonight", a late night weekend program specializing in bringing you the best live acts of the moment. I'm not sure exactly when or where this show was filmed, but an educated guess would put in in early 1983, on their first US tour of the west coast- probably LA or San Francisco. I apologize for the quality of this clip, but I felt the historic significance of it warranted it being preserved before my VHS deteriorated any further.
