If the developer is watching this, I have an idea: Whenever killing a badnik, the little animals that jump out and run around freely, should instead drop down dead, and missing a few limbs. This would make look like sonic.exe actually killed them, like in the original.

If the creator sees this, I would suggest making the title screen more accurate and making it cut to sonic.exe for a split second at the end of the title screen

i feel like there was so much that wouldve been done with the music instead of just making it a lower pitch, use the file select music in the sonic.exe instead of lowering the pitch, something like that. instead of just lowering the pitch try to use the assets of what made sonic.exe in the first place. just a thought when your updating this Yolkin
its just the main menu and any music that has a lower pitch (except the sega jungle), plus not every sprite has to have bleeding eye sockets, make some look decayed and dead, maybe give super sonic a slightly darker pallet when he goes super sonic

This could be done SOO much better. Like the "100 rings=1 life" music. It is so out of place. If it were possible, I would change something in the finale after the Boss fight in the 2nd act.
As Sonic gets near those animals(which should be visible) are more and more afraid 'til he is just before them... and then it fades away(just like with Tails &Knuckles in the original Sonic.EXE)
When you destroy a robot I think that there should not be the animal all happy that bounces away... it should die or somethimg like that.
About the rings I would add a "-" before the n° of rings😉
I would change the Ufo with one of Sonic's friend like Espio for example(even tho this is probably impossible)
