- Learn how to make your own padded headbands! I've been seeing this style of headband on Instagram a lot lately, and so decided to have a go at making one for myself!
Sorry the music is a bit crackly in places. Matt (husband) made this song for me and we need to fine tune it a little bit, but I loved it so much I wanted to use it anyway.

I think I might try this with less deep padding because it is a bit too much.
Woaaah. Can't wait to try this. They'd make such a good fashion statement. Thank you

They’re like tiara’s you can wear in public!
Totally!
Why can you not wear tiaras in public? ;^;
@@AshHeaven exactly I do 🤣🤣🤣
@henrietta henson
Same, I wear tiaras, crowns, headbands, headdresses, veils, cake toppers, halos, glowsticks, et cetera.
Everyone always asks me if it is my birthday or something when I do that.
Such an awesome tutorial! Cannot wait to try it 🌞

Me encantó ❤️ explicas muy bien
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I found it extremely helpful. X
You’re welcome! Glad it was helpful for you!
This was a helpful tutorial. To me the headband looks very, very, very dressy & formal. I'd prob'ly use a type of foam that's about 1/2 as thick as the one shown in the video, but that's just personal preference. The headband turned out just lovely.
Thanks. I need this for a Races Day outfit. Wearing it with a large fabric bow at the back.
Sounds lovely! Have fun making it
Excellent!!!! Thank you!!!

where did you find this exact foam??
Супер👍👍👍Спасибо за видео❤🌹🌹🌹
Where did you get the foam ?
Hello where did you get your foam from?
😍😍😍👏👏👏
Which thing have you used for padding?
Plz telllll the name
How thick was the piece of foam in this video?
Please where can I find this sponge?
Hey whats that white foam called
Como acompanhar um vídeo nessa rapidez , pelo amor de deus
where can i find this sponge?
Can I use glue gun for putting the foam on the plastic headband (will it melt the plastic part) and for the closing the opening at the end instead of sewing with the needle?
:0 thank you a lot!!
You’re welcome! 😊
When you made your template, you didn't add any extra length and width for a seam allowance. Is this because your fabric was very stretchy?
Tiffany Arey Yes, I find you don’t need to add any extra as the fabric is stretchy. The first time I tried this project I added seam allowance and the fabric casing was way to big for the headband!
Thank you! I’m using a dupioni silk cut on the bias. Hopefully this will provide enough stretch!
I thought you were wearing a beret when the top was not visible. 🤔
Thank u so much for this!!!! U rule 😘
kool schmool glad you found it helpful!! ☺️
This is probably a dumb question but I'm new to sewing and just trying to understand - why do you divide by 2 when taking the measurements? thank you x
Because the fabric is cut on the fold, unless you half the measurement you would have twice the width you'd need.
Where did you get the foam??
It was just a random piece I had lying around but most craft stores should have some foam of some kind 😊
How on earth did you manage to make the foam look so rounded!???!??????
I am struggling so much with shaping the foam
I just eyeballed it and used a pair of scissors to make it a more rounded shape, don’t be fooled by the sped-up time lapse, it took a while to get it to the shape I wanted! Hope this helps 😊
@@RoseryApparel Ok this makes me feel better! lol. It took me soooo long to shape. I was like she has magic hands, thats the only way! Lol.
hi! did you measure the height of the foam from one side of the base to the other? or from the top to one side? hope that makes sense! - thanks!
BelaS08 To make the fabric template? In the video I measured only half of the foam, but alternatively you could measure the entire dimension of the foam and then divide it by two. Hope that helps! 😊
@@RoseryApparel got it! thanks!
Hi! I'm sorry but i didn't hear the name of the products clearly, what do u call that white pad thing? 😬 Thanks!
It’s foam 😊
@@RoseryApparel Thank you! 💌
These are super cute! Would definitely like to try this but with slightly less padding for a bit more of a modest look I think. 🙂
Would it work to just leave one end of the fabric casing open until you feed the headband through? Then stitch the end shut?
:diy headband
sarebbe stato un ottimo video se fossi andata un po' più adagio 👌
Thanks for the feedback, what else would you like to see?
im sorry but the song you use is so creepy to me lmao
