There are only 2 places in the world where I will drink tap water. Barbados and my Aunt and Uncle's house in Oklahoma City. I love the water in Barbados.
It depends on what part of the island. The water is brown in some areas, if they get water at all.

I'm glad you are enjoying Barbados, it's a beautiful island, I hope one day you'll can do a Caribbean cruise ship tours of the other island...been to Barbados twice 1st time to spend time in Barbados and the 2nd time on a Cruise-ship, I hope you get to taste their flying fish or see the fish fly in the ocean...You will get different experience in all of the islands but no matter where in the Caribbean your feet takes you will feel connected as family...I know the our ancestors or so happy to see these connecting being taken place...because I visit Africa for the 1st time in 2023 and you all are visiting the Caribbean for the 1st time in 2023...I felt at home in Africa, it is so beautiful as you will see the Caribbean is beautiful as well...the food is delicious...Hands down...since you had a chance to eat Ghanaians food you will get a sense of the Caribbean cuisine is much like West Africa cuisine. Enjoy Enjoy Enjoy it to the fullest.

Trudy, you crack me up thinking how the ship is going to just fall into the ocean...I have been and many ships and none of them have gone down with me, when you start to cruise girl that might be your best trips every, I love to cruise, all the food, music, go and see different islands and tour the islands or many location in the world, South Africa and all have cruise ship going out I think from Cape-town maybe you should try doing one of these...but I love traveling the Caribbean by cruising that is how I travel the Caribbean the most by cruising to different island, Eastern, Western, and Southern Caribbean...you will enjoy cruising you don't even feel like you are on a cruise ship...so change that negative mindset about cruising and go and enjoy it, then come back and tell me how you love it...because it relaxing, you get to eat drink and be merry...don't listen to the negative just be positive when traveling...If I was to listen to the negativity about Africa I would have never gone, but I decided to go and expect to be going back again and again I LOVE AFRICA...I show people the pictures when I came back to the USA and they was shock...So I telling you cruising is so relaxing with your hubby, you will LOVE it.
