I’ve been expanding my taste, I’m still just exploring designer fragrances. I didn’t start my perfume obsession until last year. And some of my senses have shifted and I’ve grown past some perfumes, but like damn, libre ALWAYS does it for me. When I was buying perfume just going in blind without ANY knowledge, Libre was the only designer perfume that stood out to me and I still feel that way. I have edp and intense, but Platine might be next, the price jump is insane though!
Have you tried Mon Guerlain or MG Intense? You might like them since you like Libre. They’re more fall/winter-oriented but they’re soooo good
Libre smells like lemon I really do not understand why is is so damn popular.
The way you feel about Patchouli is how I feel about Tuberose- I can’t escape it😩
Tuberose is the worst! It always hits me immediately and I get a headache 😖
Ohhh nooooo it’s one of my favorites in the fall and winter ha but it has to be with cinnamon or pink pepper it has to have spice with it or I don’t like it at all ha

Cheirosa 59 is yummy, and honestly I feel like the cream smells yummier than the spray!
I agree! I find if I apply an oil and then spray it gives a similar effect. It’s like the oils sweeten the fragrance and bring out the vanilla and pistachio notes faster and more intensely.

I love when someone is super honest about how good awful the Good Girl bottles are! They’re ALL ugly! Doesn’t matter the color!! And the shape is just awkward….i do like the smell of the first good girl as I like spice but not enough to buy it! And then the Marc Jacob’s bottles are all sooo pretty and girlie but all of them seem the same and like they don’t last but I get tempted by the bottles I may break down and get the least annoying one
I agree, I hate the good girl bottles 😅 I have one, and I enjoy it (blush) but I don't like looking at it and I HATE holding it. The sprayer is immaculate, though 😏
I like the good girl fragrances also and hate the bottles. This is the reason I haven’t purchased them. Then I thought maybe I could get a purse spray to have the scent and not the bottle, and around me at least, I can’t find a spray - only roller balls and I don’t like that. So … yeah I wish they had an alternate bottle.
My local ulta had the Kylie Cosmic one and I was pleasantly surprised-I wouldn’t say it’s incredibly complex but definitely doesn’t smell like a celebrity perfume to me
Your descriptions of Good Girl Blush and Khamrah were spot on - you explained exactly why I do not like them but I could never describe it. I love My Way Nectar. The only other one I love and own in the line is the OG. Nectar is the perfect summer/spring version to me! I live in SWFL and a lighter, juicier version will be great for summer. I love them both and they are different!

You might like this is Her: Undressed, it’s muskier and has salt and sandalwood notes. I think it’s gorgeous but it can be strong for some people, it lasts and projects on me for 24 hours+

My current addiction is the new Trésor la Nuit Parfum , its so fruity in the beginning and then the sweetness comes through and its sooooo good Omg and can’t help but smelling my arm❤

I haven’t bought any Miss Diors since Miss Dior Cherie which is loved when I was younger. I love this new one and even though it’s not the same I love it.
I didn’t think cheirosa 59 was that special when I sprayed it on me at the store, but then I could NOT stop sniffing my arm. It’s addicting!

I definitely agree about the Killian bottles for that line. They’re my least favorite bottles. I dislike that it’s a kind of tacky looking sticker label. I wish it had the gold plates like their other bottles
love this video! emma, I would love to get your take on comforting, warm fragrances for people that don't usually like sweet, gourmand types. I am searching for something that I can wear to bed that makes me feel cozy and comforted and hugged but I don't like gourmands, I don't like vanilla, and I don't like anything very sweet! I tend towards green and floral and sometimes fruity, and niche. but I feel like you know gourmands and comfortable scents so well, maybe you would have good suggestions. I do like molecule 01 and things like cloves and cardamom so... ? just a thought! would love it.
I was expecting to not like Tigerlily at all, but I really enjoyed it! But I imagine it more for cold weather.
Love honeysuckle! I’ve never had a honeysuckle perfume though! You should do a list!? I use to wear the oil in college…and omg men would stick their nose in my neck and stay there 😅

I sniffed miss dior yesterday, and my daughter and I were surprised we liked it(gourmand is my jam). Its very fresh, zingy and fruity.
I did not enjoy the by kilian. Too powerful for me.
And I felt the same about tiger lily.
I did, however, fall in kove with kayali utopia vanilla coco yesterday.
i also didn't love the OG Blush when it first came out but the other day I was looking for a new perfume to add to my collection and the SA showed me the Elixir version and I fell in love... I bought the 80ml lmao it's so delicious to me and so much sweeter than what you can imagine by looking at the notes.. it's sweet but sultry and VERY SEXY
born to be unforgettable smells like a cuba libre to me, it’s a cocktail that is literally just lime, coca cola and rum lol it smells so good to me

Have you done a 10/10 perfumes video yet? I'm curious which perfumes you consider to be "perfection"? It's funny because I had just thought, "I don't want to smell like a strawberry," then you said it. Also, YSL Libre (the OG) is a favourite of mine and I was wondering if Platine is a lavender bomb. Now I'm curious to try it....

Hey I just wanted to say, I love your videos and would you have any recommendations/ be open to do a video about fruity perfumes that are not very sweet/ candy-like? Or even just the different fruity perfumes you like? I've been trying to get into fruity perfumes but they always end up smelling too sweet on me. I bought vilhelm's mango skin and it smelled like bubblegum on me I wanted to cry looking at the price tag 😭

I LOVED the opening of born to be unforgettable - the most realistic cola scent I've smelled in a perfume! and then it faded away in like 5 seconds and I hated the way it smelled for the rest of the day. its very masculine but is a very harsh scent - abrasive almost

I'd still love a long lasting (not to the extreme multi day extent) fragrance video because my body chemistry just devours scent. Something that will last 4-5 hours on sometime else will disappear in an hour on my skin
What are some good fragrances with orange blossom? I like more masculine type scents with green, citrus, woody.
I might pick up the Black rose and oud fragrance mist from salt and stone but not right now. I don’t think is very spring scent . Also love your videos!

Daisy wild smelled nice in the opening but dried down so funky to me. Also cheirosa 59 smells just like the EOS vanilla cashmere lotion.

I have gotten a lot of requests for this! I most likely will not do it for another few months since I am in the process of moving. Maybe in a few months though!
The killian bottle wouldve been cool if they did like an inner layer of glass with a coco cola colour liquid between if that makes any sense they couldve been so much more creative with it. I also think if they replaced the cedar with vanilla in the base and the top with cherry instead of lime wouldve made it more feminine and also more coca cola esk

Miss Dior Parfum is nothing like Coco Mademoiselle. It does not have a prominent patchouli. It smells very pink fruity. CM is a very sharp citrus patchouli bomb. I blind bought it and it's a solid like. I think it will be better for a little later in spring/summer.

Just smelled Cosmic - it iS the most generic likeable scent lol. It's basic and very celebrity fragrancey to me. It's fine lol.

I ordered Miss Dior Parfum the minute it was launched. Sampled for a couple of days and returned. For me, it was quite redundant, like I had smelled it repeatedly everywhere. Very generic and not worth the price IMO
Is the label on that Kilian bottle crooked?? Maybe I'm wrong but it looks crooked. It's a bad look to have a sloppy sticker at that price point. And in general, the bottle looks like the cheap cologne I got at Hot Topic in high school. Embarrassing.

I think you're holding the blotter strip wrong? You spray the wider end and hold the narrower end? You'll get more perfume on the wider end and can smell it better. 🌹💕🌹
