She is amazing! I sort of understand Spanish, and the way she presented this cooking lesson made it very easy to understand the portions and process. Bravo! This is the video I'm going to use to make her recipe. Thank you! Muchas gracias!😊
Love this ...can't speak Spanish but I understood almost everything she said. You have to love her she has made this dish hundreds of time. Really good recipe for the chiles I love so much.
Senora many thanks for your great recipe!!! I wish I had your patience but I don't so to make my life much easier these 2 recipes below are my short cuts to making this delicious casserole: First Short Cut Recipe I use: 1) Spray the baking pan bottom and sides with a cooking spray, 2) Use 1/2 of one 10 ounce drained can of Ro Tel Original Tomato Diced Green Chili and place that on the bottom of the baking pan. 3) Then top with the sauteed ground beef and onion. 4) Add the rest of the remaining can of Ro Tel directly into the batter and mix very well. 5) Now pour the mixture over everything in the baking pan. 6) Place in the oven until cooked.. Second Short Cut Recipe I also Use: 1) Buy the hatch mild chilis in the large can which are already cleaned, 2 ) Open them carefully so they lie open and flat. 3) Dice a few for the top of the casserole . 4) Spray Pam spray on the bottom and sides of your baking pan. 5) Place the sauteed ground beef with onions over that and level it off with a spoon. 6) Add the egg mixture to cover everything in the baking pan 7) Sprinkle the chopped diced Hatch green chilis over the top of the Chili Rellanos Casserole. 9) Bake in the oven until cooked through Serve and enjoy, and leftovers can also be eaten in a few days, or sectioned and frozen in aluminum foil and then placed inside of freezer bags for more meals.
Gracias! I may not speak Spanish but I understood enough how to make. You remind me of a lady that babysit me when I was little Josefina. She made things like this pico de gallo, frijoles, tamales, etc all that delicious Mexican food. I am glad to be part Mexican. Muchas Gracias!
These Chili Rellenos look just like what my Grandma used to make when I was little! I wish I had paid more attention to how she did it back then, but this pretty much brings back the memories! Oh how delicious! Gracias!
I don't speak Spanish, but am so thankful that you posted this. Great cook and good teacher. It's possible to follow, even if we can't speak the language. :)

Yumm I really need english...I made this to the best of my ability to get all the correct ingredients but I dont speak spanish well enough to know what I've missed.
AMBER HADLEY for 10 chile poblanos she used 8 eggs, separated. She toasted the chiles over the fire to blacken the outer skin, which she peeled off. The chile is slit open and the seeds are removed. She used queso fresco to fill with. Monterey jack and cheddar will do, too. She coated the chile with regular flour . She whipped the egg whites to soft peaks she folded the separately beaten yolks into the egg whites. She dipped each filled chile into the egg batter. Then that is cooked in hot oil. Until golden brown on both sides. She said they could be served with or without a sauce.
Wish there was some English subtitles or something. About the only thing I understood was chilies, I would absolutely love to learn from her but I just can't understand what she is saying.

Imagine the aroma in her house at supper-time. God help me.
Looks like she may have used red enchilada sauce in her sauce. I'm sure green sauce would be good too.

Stephenie Martinez you can toast chiles in oven or hold chile over fire with a fork.
