Totally agree about the trends! Never understood making fun of people for liking something just because a bunch of other people like the same thing? Life is so prone to sucking, just enjoy the things you’re able to enjoy and let everyone else do the same.
Thank youuu omg it’s one of my top gripes with this community 😂 the pick-me, ‘not like other girls’ people who think they’re sooo cool for not liking a trend, or making fun of those who do. Like good for you lmao. There is absolutely nothing wrong with liking something that’s popular. And there’s nothing wrong with liking something that’s unpopular. But that air of superiority when someone doesn’t like a trend, I don’t get it. I am all for people liking whatever the hell they want, I’ve never in my life thought twice about what someone else did with their planner lol. And that fact I DO have a superiority complex about, because it’s the superior side to be on 🤣🤣🤣🤣 letting people enjoy things!!!!
@@amandaleighplans also, when things are trendy is really the best and sometimes only time to be able to get your hands on some items. And they're trendy because they must be awesome in some way 👍🏻
@@velvetplans5396 exactly!!!! If something is super popular it MUST be good 😂 if that many people like it. I mean think about making a new purchase of idk, some random product. Or going to a new restaurant. If you read reviews and tons of people are raving, you think to yourself that it must be good and you wanna go there! A lot of people liking the same thing has never been a bad thing, and that’s how it becomes a trend!
It's nice to have variety. You aren't the only one who has more than one planner. Your planners are pretty and I enjoy looking at your flips. I'm a senior so I can tell you from experience, no one else's criticism matters. Do what you love.
I am all for having a main planner and double stuff, it’s our hobby….we are gonna wander hehe…..okay, let me keep watching

Girl, I am with you on the “for fun” planners not being dated. I get on a kick for several days doing collages then bam - don’t touch the notebook for weeks. I love using dotted TN inserts for my “fun” stuff bc I can’t NOT NOT complete a dated planner! 😂😂😂😂😂
YESSS AHAHA you get me!!! 🤣 you said it right there. We get on kicks of doing a new style or way of decorating, then after a few days or weeks it’s like meh I don’t feel like doing this anymore 😂 and I’m totally cool with that part of it, I love switching it up and trying new things, but what I am NOT cool with is wasting notebooks/planners and pages! That’s why I love the undated ones I have - one page can be Feb and one style or layout, and the very next page can be May and a completely different style or layout 😂 I’d rather do that & be able to pick up/put down the planner whenever I feel like it, and not have any wasted pages. I will finish a notebook until it’s done & I don’t care if it spans across multiple years or has different styles within it lol!! But man dated pages give me this anxiety that I HAVE to do it every single day/week and I can’t stand it lol
I haven an undated horizontal weekly Kinbor and I am doubting if I wanna use it or not, since I also have my dated Hobonichi weeks and I don't wanna waste it :x But I don't have that many plans to 'justify' using two planners x'D
OMG wait is it a hobo weeks kinbor but undated?! I’ve been looking for one of those so I can ditch the dated weeks forever! 😂 and I’m with you - not enough plans but i do it anyways LOL

Literally why do I ALWAYS FORGET THAT IS A THINGGGGG. I’ve done that in journals before!! 🤣 thank you for the reminder! that small suggestion really just took away TONS of my stress on the subject lol

That’s my favorite motto!!! If you wanna have 16 planners that you fill out with the exact same stuff, why not 🤷🏻♀️ I love the for fun stuff. It’s what truly keeps me connected to this hobby!!! I just gotta stop buying DATED so I can seamlessly hop back and forth with zero stress 😂

Where did you get your monthly tabs and day labels (I think the ones on the Wonderland)?
I made all my tabs myself! The smaller ones I trim the edge of page flags to make them rounded and the larger tabs are sticky page flag tabs by Poi & Hun. Then I use my label maker to label them!

Love your videos, I am a 1 planner girl, but would love to be able to plan in many but I just love my rings. I did buy a weeks but sold it. Keep looking at them again but have resisted so far ❤️
I am with you!!! To be honest I feel like I’m technically still a one planner girl too… 🤣 maybe I’m cheating LOL but truly if we’re talking strictly for real planning my life, all I need is one rings planner. I just do this thing where I like to “play” in 35283 other ones for fun 😂🤦🏻♀️
What is the bound book you showed for the daily? I have been looking for exactly that type of book that has the hours and note space!

I loved this! I was about to buy a Hobonichi Weekly just purely based off of FOMO-- mind you, I'm someone who hates bound books, yellow/cream paper, and thin paper 😂😅 Not only that, but I also just don't have enough time for more than one planner.. and I'm similar in that I hate having unused dated inserts. So, for now, I'm just going to stick with my mini HP which is more than enough for me. I have so much respect for yall with multiple planners-- and even if it isn't for functionality, the important thing is that you enjoy using the notebooks and have a creative outlet! 🤍
Seriously, don’t be me - don’t let the pretty hobonichi weeks pictures get you 😂🤣 I’m not big on cream paper either, but I LOVE the size and the paper of the hobo weeks. If I could freaking find exactly that but undated I’d be in heaven! So I knew I liked it, butttt I also knew that dated gives me unnecessary stress. So I regret my choices 😂 I’ve been admiring the Take a Note planners as well but managed to be firm in my “you don’t need it, it’s dated” realization 😅 anyways, funny enough yeaaaars ago I was like omg I could never use more than one planner, too overwhelming, nope - and here I am now with like 15 LOL! Which hey, like you said I am overjoyed to have these creative outlets, that’s part of the hobby fun for me - I just need to never buy dated again! 🥲

Nooooooo, don’t even THINK of leaving rings!😬 Your deco and setups are so beautiful! As far as repetitiveness, it’s your creative outlet so why second guess how you feel? If you end up leaving the Hobo, it’s because it doesn’t bring joy so no big deal. Keep doing what makes Amanda happy, and we’ll be glad to watch. 🥰
I never will!!! I can’t see myself ever having a bound book as main planner, which it COULD work I’m not trying to draw out my tracker or whatever else 🤣🤣 and I wish it was easy enough for me to not care if I stopped using the dated hobo…. Because you are SO right! ❤️

i use my hobonichi weeks as an archive for my inserts because i switch around inserts so often for fun or getting bored with inserts. It's impossible for me to look back on previous weeks in chronological order lol It's working for me so I'm not going to fight it.
Okay um honestly???? Genius???? How did I not think of that!!!!! That is an EXCELLENT point and funny enough that situation just came up for me two days ago! I’m the same first, I do save most of my weekly inserts but I switch insert types constantly, I don’t even always write the month on my rings weeklies bc I really only need it THAT week to keep me on track and I know what week I’m on when it’s happening lol. But sometimes there’s the rare occurrence I need to figure out when something happened, and that’s impossible with my rings weeklies! Literally two days ago mel and I were searching our texts, I even looked at my story archive to try to find the date of something a looong time ago lol. Literally having a dated bound book is good for one thing and it’s that 🤣🤣
So do you place your physical inserts on top of the week in the hobonochi or do you copy everything over manually? That really is a good idea 💡💡💡☺️
@@velvetplans5396 i copy manually :D i go all out with my tombow fudenosukes, character stickers, washi, etc. in the end, it all looks like what you see in plan with mes and instagram.

@@grey8104 oooh its like your memory planner I love it! I never thought of doing that. Actually it's brilliant, I haven't wanted to post on social media because of privacy, but for memory planning I could leave of private details and post that... great idea ☺

It’s hard to explain but feels like regular paper to me, it’s def not like thin and crinkly TRP! I actually love it bc my pen glides smoothly, while I love thin crinkly paper I actually prefer my handwriting and the feel on regular paper lol
Where are the “daily” and “month” tabs in your hobo weeks from?

I am honestly the cheapest/laziest person ever!!!!! I just film with my iPhone and a ring light tripod from Amazon!
