He's from my town I remember seeing him on a skateboard when he was a kid I'm a few years older than he is, but I remember seeing him and his friends out with their VHS camcorders recording their skating antics around town. He's definitely a hard worker and he's accomplished a lot from an early age on. I have a lot of respect for his work ethic.

His ability to schedule, prepare , and implement a plan that accomplishes the same goal in a shorter period of time- all while maintaining the same level of detail & perfection. I met Rob a few years ago at the Fantasy Factory in LA. One of the most genuine person I ever met. He cracked a few jokes and we both laughed. Good dude.

I REMEMBER when Rob Dyrdek was on the show before " ridiculousness" and on another show with big. Back then he was just another pro skateboarder on a show and without big there was no magic on the show. Rob was ripping him off on his cut well big found out and confronted rob about the money aspect. Rob didn't like it so he gave big an ultimatum " either keep getting paid what you are getting or get off the show" soon after big was off the show....soon after that show took a flop and rob moved onto create ridiculousness where only he is the host and does commentary on videos posted online.

Rob Dyrdek is very charismatic and has a great sense of humor. It’s not by accident he is where he is, let’s not down play that. Not just anyone could do that show, think of the hosts he’s had not all make the show as fun/ funny as he does. He’s a great host period.
I messed my back up really bad and I could not move from my brothers couch. I watched all of Rob and big. Everytime I would laugh pain would shoot down my leg and take my breath away. I really needed a laugh ♡

I didn't catch many episodes but my vision of the future changed forever after seeing the Fantasy Factory. As a kid it blew my mind, even if largely for a tv show, that work and play could coexist like that when you're in business for yourself. Thousands have done it since through youtube but Rob was the real pioneer.
