In this video I go over how to make an electric guitar similar to the one used from "Grandson - Blood in the Water" in the VITAL synth. All my presets use only wavetables and noises from the free version of VITAL.

The master of sound design is back 😎🔥🎸
jeez this synth is so versatile
And its free
I think it's also who uses it that makes it versatile, Jazen is insane
It’s been 4 months since your last upload. I’ve missed you. Welcome back ☺️
Missed you too 😘
glad to see you're back! sick sound design here too!
This man must be stopped!! Seriously though, I'd love to see a more general video about your approach to synthesis, coming this close to emulating guitar on a free synth is absolutely insane. I've watched every single one of your videos and I always learn something knew. Much love from a guitarist and newbie producer
Stay tuned 😉
And that's why I subscribed and joined his server. If he keeps at it, he'd be a savior to anyone that relies on sampled orchestra libraries.
This is amazing, you're a huge help!
Thanks for your good tutorials !
Awesome video, thanks!
Very cool, can't wait to follow this tutorial and mess around with a load of guitar effects
Oh dude... That's fire 🔥🔥🔥
Duuude! Love it!
Been wanting something like this
thanks, this was helpful
you are the real g. subbed. have a great life
new intro! nice vid
dude this is crazy good i didn't even know this was possible wtf
crazy good thanks!
jesus just found this channel! gonna help out a lot!
Wow, this sounds way better than other digital guitars I paid for. (After I put a digital amp through it) Great Video!
You are awesome thank you
Thanks man
Oh I need this
Great tutorial!! ran into through a NeuralDSP
Cool video
that sounds more like lo-fi piano with distortion but still pretty close, very enjoyable👍
A video of Blade Runner 2049 inspired synths and bass for sound design possibly ?
Great video btw can't wait to use the cinematic strings in vital !
Gotta say, I tried this with many amp sims and sometimes it sounded like an actual guitar, I might not buy a guitar emulation after all lol
Fire
Wow, this is great! Can you make a video about doom style low guitars?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The return of the king!
I love your videos! They really help me getting to know and to understand synths better...
PS: Maybe you could make a video on how you approach sound design and create the sounds you imagine :)
PPS: Nice intro! short and sweet... really fits the videos' style
Thanks! Been planning this for a while, stay tuned...
As a subscriber with notification turned on, I will be right there when something new comes out ;)
awesome 👍
Thank you for a clear and easy to follow guide. NEVERMIND, figured it out. Could not find Guitar Rig VST, now all good. (Old content: I did not understand two things: how do you send the synthesized guitar sound from Vital to Guitar Rig and then how do you get the processed guitar sound into something like Reaper?) Thanks again!
How'd you do it? I've been stuck on this for about 4 days now! Anything would be greatly appreciated! :D
@@operationmnemonic4409 Sorry, I don't remember right now and not sure when I can replicate it. One thing: I am not a genius, so I most likely stumbled into the solution by randomly clicking stuff. Have some optimism and click.
oh boi i missed this
This is great. To my mind it sounds like a clavinet, which is awesome. Of course Stevie Wonder used that in rhythm guitar type way, which was well mind blowing. I believe using a keyboard as a lead guitar was banned sometime in the mid 80s though!
Very nice video. I'm also wondering tho, at 4:05, why do I have to use macro to adjust FM knob instead of using the knob itself?
Macros are a way to give you easy access to the controls you might want to tweak later. They are especially useful if other people are using your preset, you can select a few parameters that can be tweaked without making them have to dive deep into all the controls.
@@jazensounds453 ah interesting. Thanks for the explanation
Great tutorial. It will be 100% complete if you can show the technique to achieve "hammer on" action like a real guitar.
is this preset in either the winter or cosmos sound bank?
is there a preset for this video? i just spent like an hour going through only to realize at the end i screwed up :(
5:40 how did you do that?
I don't think this sounds a like a guitar, sounds like a cool electric piano tho
i entered -12 in like at 2:28 and the bar went all the way back. any clues as to why this might be?
Maybe save the preset then restart Vital? No idea honestly, sounds like a bug
Did you try to reenter "-12" after this issue occurred? Maybe you accidentally typed "-122" or something like that?
@@ronsn8071 yes, i typed correctly
Maybe it's because of the FREQUENCY UNITS in the VITAL GLOBAL TAB. If it's set to HZ instead of SEMITONES, it will go all the way back. This also happened to me when I set the FREQUENCY UNITS to HZ, it went all the way back until I set it to SEMITONES, it was now on top of OSC 3 BUTTON OF FILTER 2.
@@hyurisalvador3914 Wow, this is nice to know. Thank you for that 🙂
I dont have the factory thing banks why is that
how the fuck that sounds so realistic wtf??
How the hell do you know how to do this man
Guitar Lofi Please
"put macro on osc fm 1 make bipolar.." Bro this sounds like the chungus burger order lmfao
u ar amazing
