    Thanks a lot! Yeah it's a great airplane, and with the Swiss mountains in the background it's pure fun.

    What a great video, and great scale flying. And those mountains. Wow !!!

      Thanks a lot! It's the Swiss Alps as a backdrop 😀 I've been flying this model over and over again to build up the skills, and watching videos of the full size airplane helped a lot.

    Wow that looks like an awesome place to fly. Great flight and sound from the Saito radial.

      Thank you! Yes in deed, lots of space and a 150m runway. The Saito is working fine since March.

    If you’re interested try a Falcon carbon prop. They are amazing. From my 22/10 meek to the 22/10 falcon I picked up 8 lbs of thrust plus it rips slightly for dramatic effect. Either way that’s a great flying plane

      Thank you! Maidened it March '18 and after some 100 flights still gives me thrills 😍

      Vielen Dank für das Kompliment! Ich habe viele Videos der echten P-47 geschaut, um ein Gefühl für den Flugstil zu bekommen. Hektik an den Knüppeln ist hier nicht angesagt 😉 Der Warbird ist nun in der vierten Saison und macht immer noch gewaltig Spass! Gruss aus dem Gürbetal

    Did you dress up the stock dummy radial and install with the fg60? Is there room for it? I am fixing to complete mine with the cowl and like the way yours looks. Any cooling issues?

      @slyburner123  Před 5 lety

      Hi Brad, I painted the dummy and cut out three holes for the cylinders. Had to adjust the wood piece to get the dummy as much up to the front as possible. But there is space for everything, it worked fine. I don't use fancy stuff like temperature sensors, but since the engine has been running fine the entire last season I suppose that there's no coolong issue. Flew it last saturday for the first time in 2019 - pure fun as always! You gonna be thrilled with yours, I'll tell you that!

    Wow great plane. Looks like you could use a little more prop? Seems a little sluggish does it fly that way or is it good? I had a p47 and it always felt sluggish. I have the 60radial in the zero and it’s a friggin missile

      Thanks for watching the video! For me the power is just perfect as I try to fly it in a scale like manner. No need to be a rocket, I use a 23x8 Meijzlik prop.
