It's basic form is one of my favorite pokemon designs ever so it's shiny if it didn't stay red would probably made me just not care for it at all but I personally like the red and white, plus the white goes along with xerneas' white and blue and zygarde's green and white it makes sense in theme
I give "Bad Shinies: The Musical" five stars.
It could star a shiny Espeon.

Zapdos should have an electric shiny as well. A simple idea is white feathers, and it’s claws & beak be silver, making it look like an electrical plug

The irony here is that I nearly had a Shiny Basculin myself, but couldn’t catch it or weaken it, so it got away. Even though the color sucks, it would’ve been a big deal to me because I’ve only ever caught one other Shiny in the Wild, not counting the Red Gyarados of the Lake of Rage. Oh, how I wish I hadn’t been conned out of my dear Shiny Magnezone.
I gotta admit, that song was actually really good.

The sad part about Typhlosion is that in the newer games his fire isn't permanently lit up like the old sprites so even if he had that cool magenta fire you would rarely see it lol.

Most shiny Pokémon: slightly cool
Yellow or green-tinted shinies: slightly jaundiced
Shiny Bewear, Lickilicky are great yellow shinies.
Just the fact that you can say "the green ones" when talking about shiny pokemon and people know what you mean is hilarious.

There is a fan theory explanation for it.
Since Nidoqueen can't breed people assume it's a mutated lab rat. And Usually in the lab, to distinguish between them and the normal rats we also give them a gene for a protein that gives a bright green color under fluorescent light.
So it could be seen as a reference to that
Nidoqueen. It has always been Nidoqueen, and unless it changes, it will always be Nidoqueen.
Edit: Also, shiny Yveltal is one of my favourite shinies. And the musical number was really fun.

Can we just agree that if any fire type actually has flames, their shiny should automatically switch the color of the flame? Like, blue is a good choice for color switch, since that means the flame is hotter (though Chandelure switching to red is a nice touch). The fire pokemon that do that usually look amazing.
Well yeah but if literally every pokemon with a flame had a shiny blue flame then it would be pretty unoriginal too.

I actually really love when regional form shinies take after the "original" form. It adds a bit of science (dormant genetics) into the fantasy and I think they're rad.
Honestly I agree there. It doesn't always work but sometimes it does. Galarian Stunfisk is a good one that I like.

She's one of my all time favorite Pokemon, and her pink shiny Nidoran female and Nidorina look beautiful....until she becomes Nidoqueen and I'm immediately unhappy with the shiny color scheme they gave her. It's even more upsetting when the shiny Nidoran male line stays blue through their whole line! As you showed in the video! Such a shame...

@@bulborb8756 Pokemon Colosseum (and Gale of Darkness, for that matter) reuses the models from the Pokemon Stadium games for the Gen 1 and 2 Pokemon. This reflects in the shiny Pokemon too, which is why they look so different from the rest of the series. In particular, Smeargle's coloring is completely different from its Gen 3 sprite, since for some reason Smeargle's normal and shiny palettes swapped from Gen 2 to Gen 3. Smeargle has a red tail in its model because normal Smeargle in Gen 2 had red tails, but in Gen 3, normal Smeargle have green tails and shiny ones have red tails. It leads to an amusing dissonance.

My first ever shiny was a shiny Zubat found in Mt. Moon in Fire Red, during my endless hunt for a Clefairy. I was an idiot kid back then who didn't even know about how Physical/Special moves were decided in Gens 1-3, and I was hunting for a Clefairy in Mt. Moon... on the wrong floor.

Not my first shiny by a long shot, but I found a shiny golbat in moon while looking for guzzlord. I wasn’t paying attention and just attacked and had to watch painfully as the golbat’s hp slowly drained and it died 😢
Years ago, JWittz was how I found out about shiny hunting. I've never had the patience to actually sit through a shiny hunt, but I have enjoyed him talking about them. Keep up the great work!
Fun fact, Basculin was my first ever shiny! I had no clue it was shiny when I caught it, and when I checked my box and saw the star, I s c r e a m e d.

There’s this detail in the animations for top 10 videos where the Poké Ball JWittz uses is based on his top 10 favorite Poké Balls. I always wished that his negative videos used his least favorite balls instead.

I think why Shiny Jolteon is so hated, is not because of the fact it’s green, but the SHADE of green used. It makes it look ill.

I wasn't even aware espeon was considered one of the worst. Honestly thought he wore it well. Each their own I suppose.
I always get peeved when I'm reminded that people don't like Shiny Espeon. It's one if my personal favorites and I'm just sad that the saturated neon green went to a darker slightly muted green in Gen 6 onward.
